I am happy with the OtterBox Defender. I had a problem with the glass screen saver in the beginning. But I had the same problem with the Defender case on the 14 Pro Max. The fit of the screen protector has to be very precise, and the ESR Jig is the best I have ever used.

That massive camera control cutout though. Not great. Otterbox should do better considering the resources they have and the prices they’re asking.

For the best part of £50/60 I think people have a right to expect a perfect case when they open the box.

Age related wear and tear then fair enough but if there are issues with the case and it’s due to poor manufacturing or QC then Sal and others are more than entitled to expect answers and resolutions from the manufacturer. Regardless of where they are in the world.

These are not £10 Amazon cheapies. They’re meant to be premium cases.
mine came with a defect to, and even the folding camera lens i got the magnet popped out but ain't nothing a little bit of glue cant fix lol. but theres a piece that pops out in the inside of the case that the camera ring secures to on mine it popped off when i changed out the camera and was loose so i just glued it in place lol. then again im the type who hates dealing with any type of customer support and would rather just fix it myself and move on

You are happy to do that because dealing with CS is not for you for whatever reason but the point is, you shouldn’t have to fix anything on the case.

In this particular case, your case has arrived following even worse manufacturing and QC than Sal’s has!

I will admit if you want to order phone rebel it’s best to order off Amazon then direct as there qc has been known to have issues. My dad’s case for his 13 pro the sides of the case separated from the back over time. I believe wi the the 16 this is the first time them doing the whole case from a mold and it appears to be having some issues with the new process

No hence why I returned it but don’t take it from me I’m all in ultra thin cases at this point so you might like it.

Pros: Not too heavy, fit is great, green color is nice

Cons: slippery, CC too easy to activate

Phone Rebel emailed back with a resolution. Refund or Replacement upon return of defective case. Or Partial refund of $15.

I queried about return postage cost (from UK to US) they offered to refund that once they have received the returned item. Good of them tbh but I declined.

I told them they can keep the money and Ill bin the case. I just cannot be bothered to spend more of my energy running around and wasting more time for replacements etc.

They offered you a replacement finally and you turned it down, why even bother with trying in the first place then? Nothing is perfect it’s just a phone case lol you must have ocd or some to be that picky :p

I guess this is a perfect case in your eyes lol.

Yes I declined as I dont see the point anymore. Ive already wasted 3 weeks plus what they offered means another 4 weeks of messing around.

If I can help them become super rich they are welcome to keep my 48 quid lol.
