I guess this is a perfect case in your eyes lol.

Yes I declined as I dont see the point anymore. Ive already wasted 3 weeks plus what they offered means another 4 weeks of messing around.
That wouldn’t bother me I have a hole in the charging port too and I had to glue the piece that holds the camera lens on to prevent it from being loose on top of that the ridge above my buttons isn’t smooth you can fill where they molded it. My CC button has also gotten loose over time so it slides slightly

Phone Rebel emailed back with a resolution. Refund or Replacement upon return of defective case. Or Partial refund of $15.

I queried about return postage cost (from UK to US) they offered to refund that once they have received the returned item. Good of them tbh but I declined.

I told them they can keep the money and Ill bin the case. I just cannot be bothered to spend more of my energy running around and wasting more time for replacements etc.
I would have gone for the refund but I personally don’t like to waste money lol

In my experience the aramid fiber PR uses scratches easy I scratched my flex with my fingernail without even trying. It’s unfortunate it was out of box but it probably wouldn’t take much long before it got scratched. I just found a small scratch on my gen 6 ultra don’t know if it was like that out of box or not as I didn’t inspect it when I got it didn’t even notice the hole in my port until I saw yours earlier in this post

Only time I ever contacted pr support was when a frosted case for the 13 pro max came cracked

Again that is not the point. Yes wear and tear will happen eventually but its a matter of principle. They asked me to pay xxx amount of dollars for brand new case. I did my bit but they didn’t.

Lesson learnt never to buy a Phone Rebel case. This was my first time trying their case and never again. Left a bad taste this whole experience.

I’m sure many are. But coming in within a few months of a new phone isn’t the best look for Caudabe
Yeahhhhhhhh they are late for sure and I don't blame people. Shoutout to the brands that jumped on it early and did a good job with it but waiting even another month is really putting them behind. At this point we are about to be on iPhone 17 countdown.

Yeah bro, they are making loyal customers have “the ick”… they should have been a bit more transparent like “hey we aren’t giving you what you paying customers want until we selfishly sell off the thousands of cases we already have in the warehouse. I love their cases but the customer relations is taking a massive hit imo with this whole button that is on pace to be done when the cure to cancer is found.

I used to be one of those loyal customers. Their cases used to stand out, but the competition has dramatically improved. Now their offerings seem like pretty average mid-range products that are on the heavy side, with sub par protection, bland designs, and unnecessarily expensive packaging. The lack of a CC button at this late stage is the last straw for me.

Can’t wait to see your nice shots of their cases when they do get released! 😉

You must be bored! 😄
Yeah, I need a distraction. I tried the TO with the cutout when it first came out and thought it was a nice case (except for the cutout). This one with the CC button is now $18.95 which is not much more than lunch these days, so I figured why not? It might also keep me from getting tempted by the CC Sheath when it finally descends from the mountaintop.

It won’t, you’ll still get the Sheath lol

Tired of PR Ultra already?
