It won’t, you’ll still get the Sheath lol

Tired of PR Ultra already?
I’m having an issue with the camera surround. It had a gap between the metal and the TPU on one corner, which I temporarily fixed by removing the metal frame and reinstalling, but it’s back after a couple of days. I should probably initiate a return with PR but I’m not in the mood to get on that merry go round.

Do it.

They should also reimburse @shady16 his glue cost that he had to buy from his own pocket to fix that gap.

At this point it’s about using the case that you enjoy until whatever case you desire comes out with the camera control button. Very true that companies like Caudabe are very late to the game and it’s unfortunate but honestly what can we do? We can’t speed up the process so at this point just use the case that you like and have patience. It will be here when it gets here and I’m sure everyone will order one even with all the negative talk about Caudabe. I’m personally not that excited about it and I’m trying to find other cases I enjoy outside of waiting around for it. Using the TinneOwl as we speak and I’m coming around on it. Phone Rebel Gen 6 Ultra is solid but I’ve burnt out from me honestly.

Wow, the Phone Rebel love is in the toilet over here o_O
My favorite beefy case at the moment is the Ringke Alles. It gets a lot of things right. The case is heavy, but not uncomfortable, and the coverage and functionality all around is very good (including the CC button). I don’t really see Ringke as a budget brand anymore; IMO they now compete with, and even beat, most of the “premium” brands in this category.

Sheath killer 🤟
TineeOwl first impressions are very good. I like that the finish is slightly smoother than the Sheath but still highly fingerprint resistant. The tiny nubs along the side improve the grip without feeling uncomfortable like the Phone Rebel. The fit, buttons, and camera control are good. The lip is just right with a screen protector. Unless something I’m not yet seeing crops up, it’ll definitely be in rotation. And all for $18.95 with Prime shipping. Sheath Killer indeed.

I’ll post a few pics tomorrow.

I would like you to keep me posted if the MagSafe ring is noticeable later on time...

Benks Montage Art any good?

My current fave, the ArmorPro cc button version, though it did take a few days use for it to feel familiar in hand after using Apple mostly. Grips up also after a little while.
Slight bulge at cc button but doesn't catch my eye. The least marking aramid I've used.

Probably will be on the phone the most until the new iPhone comes. Though may be swayed by a Crimson Sheath with cc button but with only just over five months until the next phone, not sure I'll get any more case.

Glad you like it. Yes, those grip nubs on the side are perfection in my opinion. Somehow makes it a pleasure to hold and I have no idea why that is since it's basically hard plastic.

Here’s the TineeOwl. Not much to see, a simple, well-made case, that is a slightly better version of the Sheath at less than half the price. No metal buttons, but better slit buttons than the Sheath ever had. A similar, but better texture in my opinion. The CC button is really easy to press, which I like but may require setting the button to double-click to open to prevent accidental activations. If you’ve been waiting for months for a Sheath with a CC button, I’d say just get one of these and save a few bucks. That’s assuming TineeOwl quality control isn’t an issue. Mine looks good, no obvious flaws so far.

Don’t know why anyone is waiting for Caudabe or anything other brands, phone rebel has created THE perfect case in the gen6 ultra.
Unless you get a defective copy like mine. Also, the fingerprints get old very quickly, though that may not bother some people. That said, the fit is amazing, the best I’ve encountered.

My TineeOwl is not so pretty, maybe it's the crappy iPad I'm using for pictures over here
