i have the polar fleece version coming tomorrow. i hate cases but usually end up with something minimal. this will be my first. my applecare+ might come in handy this go around.

Yeah I always keep in mind I have my AC+. Also helps me sometimes go totally caseless.
Very well, that was one of my thoughts when I tried it on my 15 Pro but I've never yet had one just 'come off' of it's own accord/in my pocket etc.
Nice! If they were not so expensive, I’d definitely grab one. I’m guessing they know they won’t sell in huge volumes and so charge more, as a somewhat niche product.
I've got the silicone grey case from Apple on mine, having used leather for the past 3 phones and FW last year.
Can't say I particularly like it, it doesn't feel great in the hand at all and feels slippy.

Serious question: what is the point of this product? Is it just to provide better grip?
To me it's grip + not worrying about scratching the hell out of the back of the phone when I'm constantly moving it on my work desk etc.
My use of iPhones has always been low impact (i.e. mostly just office/home use etc) so I've never really struggled with damage, and have always been absolutely desperate to therefore use no case. I did actually do it last year for quite a while, but the downside was that a) it becomes super slippery to take out my pockets meaning I very nearly dropped it a couple of times, and b) when it was constantly up/down/up/down on my work desk I worried I'd scratch the back.
So when I saw these I immediately ordered one. It gives really solid grip (to me) taking it out my pockets, and I no longer worry about scratching the back. I had it on my iPhone 15 Pro for about 4 months and the sides didn't pick up any damage, but as above I know I'm a low impact user.
But... I 1000% appreciate that to probably 90% of iPhone users this is a 'pointless case' (not really actually a case I guess) and I respect that. Still thought I'd post in case it was of interest to some others.

Here's the issue with the Apple Silicone cases - there is a forming line I guess on the edge. Never seen this before with their cases. Got a replacement and it too has a similar line but not as pronounced. A bit crappy considering they are $50 a pop.
So you remove it often? My stone doesn’t have a line, but I rarely have removed it.
I got the Apple Clear case, Apple Silicone, and Otterbox Lumen. The Lumen is the clear winner for me. I’ve struggled with finding a replacement for Apple’s leather cases since they discontinued them. The Lumen is checking off the boxes for me.
The Apple Clear case is solid, but quite slippery and the buttons aren’t clicky. The Silicone cone I don’t love the feeling, it’s hard to slide in/out of pockets, and I worry about chipping.
The Lumen fits really well, slides in/out of pockets easily, shows off a bit of the phone color, has grippy sides, and has the camera control covered. The buttons are also clicky. No complaints.

Correct. It's pretty faint yes, doesn't really bother me and only ordered another to see if it was just a one off or how they are. Just a little annoying on an Apple $50 case. That's all
I guess it could be a little better, but it is not horrible. I guess this might come down to personal preference. I am just hoping that there is a mid-cycle refresh on a lot of the other cases and I can pick something else up later, for now I dig the color, I dig the texture, it has MagSafe, and I am satisfied for now. Hopefully later I will be even more satisfied!
These are really nice! How's the texture on that suede? Not as scratchy as finewoven was?
Told myself I wouldn't be buying cases this year...but I wouldn't consider this a case 😏
