Case feels so premium. Perfect for that slim profile feel with protection and grip. Cutouts are nice and black phone blends right in.

I was thinking on trying the Benks but quite pleased with this one.

After handling the ESR with Stand for a few days, it feels too heavy and a little thick for my liking. This Pitaka case might be my keeper and just ordered it in black. Looks more minimalist than the blues that I was also interested in.

I do wonder how durable the Pitaka cases are long term. I don't plan to drop my phone but just from normal use I wonder how firm those edges around every button will be.

Nomad Sport for the Wife, Nomad Horween leather for me. On the Flip side, she has the ESR screen protector, mine has the Spigen.

How are both screen protectors? Almost all brands have them but curious to know if there's any substantial difference? In terms of not affecting visual clarity / colors at ALL, oleophobic properties etc

I’m happy with my Otterbox Lumen so far. After a full day with a Benks ArmorPro (hole for CC button), the covered button is way better. Benks had a narrow hole so it’s harder to press with the edge of my finger.

On to the Lumen though - way more grip than Apple Clear / Beats Cases which, for Apple Clear, I’ve tried each of the past few years they started coming out and they always seemed too slippery for me. Here it is on my NatTi - and a video of just the case.

I was looking at the Torras cases because the ring stand stuff is actually pretty cool tbh but this one has caught my eye. Wonder if that color will pair well with my desert titanium :S probs safest to go with black tbh.

Only thing that I find a bit disappointing IMO, is the lack of care for the cameras. That area is going to be a b**ch to clean when lint / dust eventually gets stuck in there. Whereas these types of minimalist cases below actually have precise cutouts for each camera. I was actually looking to get a super minimal case like the ones below and pop in a screen protector but it's mainly the camera button cutout that threw me off :/

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has already been discussed...I really liked this PC+TPU Otterbox case in the Apple Store but wanted something that is fully clear, with maybe a white or gold magsafe ring. Ideally with a button for Camera Control instead of a cutout. Here's what I'm looking for:

- Clear Polycarbonate back
- Clear TPU side for better grip
- Magsafe
- No raised corner "lips" in the back..an example is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Otterbox doesn't seem to have this lip
- Camera Control button

Any suggestions? Thanks!

My wife has the pink on her 16 pro & loves it

Haha if you are happy with it. It’s actually so you can attach a lanyard to the bottom.
Ahh I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing. I mean the raised edge on the front to protect the screen. So that the case and the screen itself are not on the same level. It you lay the phone with the screen down, it will rest on the case if there is enough lip and not on the screen itself.

What's everyone's thoughts on camera lens protectors such as these from ESR?

Everyone seems to be liking the silicone this year (I’m sure the button situation helps) - may have to pick one up. Do they not pick up grease and lint very badly? Like, the material that would pull the pocket inside out…

Or, have they improved the design over the years enough to be of quality?
I have always found the Apple silicon cases to feel great at first and then turn into lint magnets within a couple of months. I have one on my 16 PM hoping it will be different this time around. Also waiting to see what new cases emerge on the market.

I have had one in the past and started off with one this year, but I’m nervous that it will actually cause chips and scratching on my black 16 pro this year. I haven’t had a black phone in a while.

Removing this case is a PIA, and I worry about anything getting between the case and phone. The fit is so tight, which I think has pros and cons.
