I’m sure Apple would love for you to get one of the more expensive models 🤣😠Another reason to not buy it. This thing looks DoA to me.

I wish there was more competition in the phone market. Google’s stuff / Android is just garbage. I wish Microsoft had never left the phone market. We’d probably see lower prices with more competition.
But I'm afraid that that's the short term thinking.Unless you don’t care about Apple intelligence! Honestly MagSafe is a lot more useful.
And is it even 120hz? If not… non starter. Can't have it all at this price point. If the checklist to get to the price point is:
1. OLED
2. Dynamic Island
3. Apple-built modem
4. MagSafe
5. A18
... I would probably drop #2 & #4 as well. I suppose you could switch OLED for LCD but that would get even more complaints.
Likely, you would have to attach a ring to your iPhone 16E to have the accessory attached to it.Question: would MagSafe accessories work if the case have a MagSafe ring?
I never thought about this. Have you or anyone confirmed that this is an actual possible interaction for sure? But, if I had a pacemaker and heard that from the manufacturer, I probably wouldn't want to chance it. I would guess that it isn't as severe as the reps might have said, just based on it being released without any warnings - at least none that I've seen.Yay! I have a relative hanging onto an iPhone 11 because they are concerned about MagSafe interfering with their pacemaker. Some Medtronic representative convinced them it was an issue.
Wait, it doesn't have magsafe but does support wireless charging? How does that even work, Apple? Seems like a big miss, but maybe people who want this phone can just buy a case with MagSafe like a lot of Android phone users are doing these days?
