Agree completely. I’m thinking about the Beats case but have heard mixed things on grip. I’m also considering Pitaka slim case but I’ve seen reviews mention fit and metal camera ring rattle?

The Beats case is super comfortable but also slippery, particularly if your hands are freshly washed and dry.

Every thin aramid case has the possibility of not fitting precisely. You may have to go through a couple to get a perfect fit. If you get a good fit, there is no rattle. I order these types of cases through Amazon for the easy returns and free Prime shipping.

The grease buildup and lint collection that progressively get worse are a turn off.

I wipe down the silicone cases I have had over the years with rubbing alcohol and it cleans them up and takes some of the stickiness away.

From the two Caudabe options…Paragon for sure. Sheath is too clunky.

The Techwoven started out as a favorite on the 17 Pro Max but the phone pops out of the left corner of the case almost daily so I don’t feel safe when using it. Is this normal or maybe a malfunction of my case?

Yes, I’m using the burgundy Horween Nomad Modern case right now. No sharpness at the ports at all. They got rid of that chin that was meant for lanyards. Nice feeling case imo.

Wow, that sounds awesome. I just ordered the Modern case in Olde Dublin Horween which is on sale from a retailer in my home country of Norway. Looking forward to receiving it!

Just chiming in to say I am now fully indoctrinated into the thin phone+thin case cult. I love this thing, especially with a super minimal case like the Pitaka. I really enjoy how the phone peeks through the case along the edges and how a glint of silver shows clearly around the screen. This combo has been so enjoyable to use while documenting the festivities the past few days. The camera has been great, battery life is not an issue, and handling such a light, minimal combo has been stellar. It’s difficult to imagine going back to a beefier phone and full-coverage case at this point. Happy camper here.

Obviously, no offense to anyone who loves their Pro/Pro Max and full coverage case. 😊

Nah. Too many QC issues with Gray plus I got bored of it pretty quickly.

So what is the consensus best case or cases for the iPhone 17 Pro Max if you're looking for a case offering good protection, nice feel in the hands and has a tight fit?

I know most people will recommend the Sheath, but I have never got on with the rough/sandpaper feel of the case. The dBrand Grip likewise.
