I believe I found the definitive solution to protect the big camera opening on the case got this ArmorSuit which is a product that I had success in the past on aluminium Apple Watches just with the intention to cover the plateau area using an Apple Techwoven case, installed a few minutes ago and it's perfect you can barely see there is a protective film there.

it is a film material similar to what protects military aircraft, helicopters, and spacecraft

Got the ZAGG Sedona Snap Case with Kickstand for iPhone Air in. I was very worried it would be slippery on the back, it isn't though (it's just soft feeling). It's a tad on the heavier side, but the quality is top notch. The grip on the sides is really good due to the indentation it has. The magnetic strength is on the stronger side and the MagSafe ring provides a texture for slip resistance while holding the Air. The camera button is fantastic feeling. And the lanyard hole is sealed inside so the phone isn't exposed.

To all with the sienna techwoven cases: Do you also have some fine dark brown spots in the side material? I have a very minor spot on mine which is only visable under certain lighting conditions. I don't want to exchange if this is a common thing for this color.
No spots here, have been using it since day one and its exactly the same as i got it out of the box. I wasn't impressed with 3rd party cases yet and got the techwoven one and now I'm probably gonna get a blue and green one too. Just waiting what new cases will drop till early nov. I tend to overuse my cases as the environments I work has dust and rough surfaces so even in my pocket its still prone to damage (as i got a screen scratched from just a sandpaper abrasive grain stuck in my pocket and moved while walking). Its not going from desk to desk as most people.

Anyone with any insights on rhinoshield? They don’t seem covered much for the 17 but the name sounds familiar to me at least from years ago?

Their clear case in blue looks super tempting to me - especially without the MagSafe ring

But also expensive + expensive shipping to Canada 😭

I bought 3 of them colors and returned all 3 lol. Almost impossible to take them off and I really didn't liked how it felt in the hand.

Great concept but they feel cheap. Also have sharp edges all around inside and outside.

Returns started already.

Today my Caudabe Sheath arrived. I also installed the Silver buttons to complement the silver iPhone.

Cases that cover the camera plateau make the phone look so cheap and nasty.

Open plateau with the xtreme skins skin is the only way

Damn that sucks. Did you get their solid color or the clear color ones? Find an alternative?

Looks like Spigen does more fun colors for their ultra hybrid non-pro models… but the pro phones just get the basic greys/blacks/clears sort of thing…

My Caudabe Sheath 17 Pro in Black with extra buttons has shipped. I ordered September 16th. I am in NY.
Same as my order on the 9th, but I’m in the UK.

I’m presuming they are sending to their UK warehouse before then sending on to UK customers, maybe.

Miracles do happen: after the most convoluted and confusing shipping experience I’ve ever encountered (I won’t bore you with the details again), my Süti PhoneBack finally arrived today. It’s pretty, but it’ll be going back to Suti. It has two problems: one, it’s far too heavy and thick for what it is (41 grams, and it easily adds 50+% onto the thickness of the phone); two, it’s loose on one corner, so it clicks and rattles every time I pick it up. Every phone back I’ve tried has had this problem, so this will be my last. It’s too bad, because it really shows off the beauty of the Air.
