iPhone 3Gs - Italy and Belgium - unlocked?

LOL I read the entire thread you posted and that Devil chap seems pretty legit and kept a level head even when they where shouting scam scam!

I agree that it is a lot of money to spend if it is a scam, but I would like to feel that there are a lot of genuine people here.

It's macrumors not mac-ebay lol...

Hope they don't think you conspired with Apple to lock phones now!

best of luck, god knows why stock is so bad in that area of the world. it is a small country, why would they need a large stock of iphones.
 
I just found out a college had jail broken a 3GS.

Its now working on anther network other then o2. Also the 3G coverage on this network is far superior then o2. Good for him, but I would sleep better at night knowing my 3Gs is legally unlocked.
 
I second that much better to pay that bit extra and not have all the hassle of waiting for a new hack to go to the latest firmware, being careful not to update by accident and screw up the unlock.

stock is hard to find as they are officially unlocked phones ...
apple seem to have delivered very few with each mobistar outlet only getting a handful

the Iphone resellers seem to be getting even less

i am hanging on awaiting stock news as i refuse to pay the prices on ebay people are just taking the P*** there with the prices

up to and over 1000 euros !! :confused:

when you can buy an officially unlocked Iphone 32 GB here in belgium for 704.95 euros..:)

Holy ****, they really raised the price :eek:. Thank God we ordered earlier. It might seem a bit selfish, but in a way i think this is good. As it pushes away doubts about the company. Although it is still cheaper than anybody in the UK. I really can't wait, this iPhone saga took more than a month and i really would like to end it.

As for why they are shortage of the device, this is marketing my friends. They do that, to make sure that prices stay high. From all this saga, who do you is benefiting the most? its Apple. And who do you think is suffering the most? ME AND YOU :cool:
 
Just called them and they are getting 2 batches of phones this week so they said my order should be on the first batch so the phone will be arriving this week!!
 
What is the stock situation in Italy? Is it easy to get from AppleStore in Rome or TIM&Vodafone shops?

Just speaking to my luck college, he has notices with some apps which have not been fully tested could brick your iphone. not sure how, but i would not want this headache.

:D I always though i suffer from the impatient disease, but apparently they are many sufferers :D I ordered in the same date as you (30th of June?), so i should get it this week then, Although i don't think i will be holding my breath :cool:.

lol well I suffer from it pretty bad even more so when I had to wait weeks for my new car!

At least it is nice to know things are progressing :)

See..i have unlocked and jail broken my previous iphones (2G and 3G), even though it can be fun in the start (as i have to admit, some of the applications are really amazing and they are free!) However, the more applications you install, the more bugs you get and the more patches you will need to apply to fix them. Eventually making your phone slower and slower. This why, i always advise people when they jail break, to pick two or three essential applications from cydia or installer if they want to avoid the lag and the crashes from the bugs and get the rest of their application from apple store.

However, my current 3G has been locked since the update where apple changed the baseband. As i can't be bothered with all the headache of unlocking and jail breaking again. and This one of the reasons, why i am happy to pay the extra money for factory unlocked iphone.

Where did you find the information about 2e/month? (I don't see it on Sonera's iPhone pages.)
