iPhone 3Gs - Italy and Belgium - unlocked?

I know it is a long shot, but if we assume, they get the first shipment tomorrow, and then assume that dream gets his phone on Thursday or Friday. Me, Dale and i think Phycoduck ordered 4 days after Dream, meaning we should get the iphone on Tuesday of next week (which was my prediction in previous post; the 14th of July)

I was thinking the exactly the same thing, but i didn't want to mention it. lololololo Sorry dream, but can't stop laughing every time i imagine what are you going to do...lolollol yes for sure I will open the world of pain on handtec and I will call them and fight lol then I will cancel my order directly.

Check out this link..its pretty funny. Its a thread in another forum where a bunch of guys preordered something from handtec, and like us they were waiting for delivery and were considering canceling. I hope we end up with similar end to them

According to eXpansys they now have an estimated availability of 4 days. It used to much longer not that long ago I think.

Yep, looks like supplies are getting in. Yet Play.com has had a consistent availability of 4-5 days for a long time now with no change. I noticed the price increase also. Looks like it's not only Handtec that must have big demand.
Excluding expansys (as it is a supplier to resellers) i think the reason websites like play.com and "others" are having consistent availabilty is because the price they offer is too high. I think the more you go toward £799 the more customers you lose. This is why i think handtec are being very clever with their policy. They started with a cheap price (within the UK) attracting average joe type of customers who would buy and spread the word. Also, when they increased their price,they made sure they still offer the cheapest price in the UK, thus still attracting customers away from play.com and "others".

i just spoke to a Mobistar center on the telephone and have been told that
they will receive a new delivery in 3 weeks
so those that are thinking of a trip over to belgium to buy .. ..
start planning for the first week in august
if i hear of any earlier deliveries i will let you know

Im thinking of booking a flight now for August 11th..do you think that delivery will have come and gone by that stage? Really dont wanna end up leaving belgium empty handed again..
I agree, in my life, i never had difficulty getting a gadget as much as i had with this iphone. I really wish if one of the very "honorable" MP here can push for a law, which ban the O2 iphone monopoly in the UK.
i have rang around various mobistar outlets
the replies vary from 3 weeks to more than a month to dont know when the next delivery will be ....
i found 2 16gb black in sepearate shops when i was calling around in Charleoi (good if you are coming via ryanair .. they have about 5 centers in charleoi ..)
i want a 32gb black so i am holding out for the next delivery .
one center claimed a small delivery on friday i have to ring them back .. its way out of the Brussels area but if i can get a 32gb i will go ..
he will not hold them for anyone first come first served ..
will see if he was actually getting a delivery friday ..
i second that. But I think it is mostly apples fault. Why only one network?
Also I think because this product is very hard to get makes the owners feel special. I know I will know my iphone is legally unlocked on a different network.
I agree..definitely apple is enjoying this. But then, if the UK pass a law similar to Belgium or France ( i don't mind waiting few months for unlocking the phone legally if the contract state so, i think this is the case in France).But then to be enslaved by a company for the rest of phone life, forcing me to use them is what is pissing me off. And this why i am prepared to pay the extra money!
I don't think that will happen anytime soon unfortunately and we can but hope that O2 lose their exclusivity sooner rather than later.
