iPhone 3Gs - Italy and Belgium - unlocked?

I will call and put the pressure on. but i dont think that will make a difference. it's not their fault the delivery is late.
Just called and they told me still waiting on stock which should be here in the next 5 working days.. so basically we will all have to wait another week.
I dug through my original emails and they did say it would be about 2 weeks before I get my order shipped so from the 30th that would be about right.
Has anyone else got a different story?
I hope everyone receives their pre-ordered phones from Handtec ASAP so we can get back to original discussion of this thread which is Belgium and Italy.

Can anyone confirm the availability of stocks in/around Rome at either AppleStore or TIM or Vodafone shops at all for us who are travelling soon to Italy?

I think pretty much everywhere in Italy is out of stock, we have a guy here who is italian and he is struggling to get my boss 2 x 16gb ones

I am happy to wait until next wednesday as this would be about 2 weeks since my original order.
If after that I still get the same excuses then I will seriously consider taking a trip to Brussels to get one from there at some point.
Same story, but it did sound like he was reading from a script. But just the bit about back orders and first come, first serve bases. He also said waiting on big order to get released into this country. I wonder if customs are holding the delivery.

i just spoke to a Mobistar center on the telephone and have been told that
they will receive a new delivery in 3 weeks
so those that are thinking of a trip over to belgium to buy .. ..
start planning for the first week in august
if i hear of any earlier deliveries i will let you know
Yup, I think this is the indication to simply give up on this topic until August. I had wanted one for travelling around Scotland with next week but it definitely doesn't look like it will happen. I'll just wait for either CAMI or Easy-M to let me know when they have received a 32GB White 3GS and I'm next on their waiting list.

I will give them a quick call next Monday and see what they say, if what Phychoduck has being told is correct then maybe sooner rather than later we may all have some good news.
Also I think any chance to get iphones from Italy, Brussels or France are pretty much nill unless you are willing to pay the extortionate prices on ebay or from other sellers such as pixmania, play or expansys who all seem to be taking advantage of the stock shortage.

They do not have any stock at all or they recieved small numbers?
Is it possible that they did not recieve one iphone till now? I do not believe it.
Maybe they recieved limited amount today but it did not include my order?
I know i'm not allowed to go into detail here, but in my opinion you're giving them far too much credit. In my personal opinion they've ****ed up big time. They will made £0 profit from your orders.
As my main business is selling iPhones to large resellers (who re-sell to smaller re-sellers), I'm pretty confident they're making a loss on your orders. I also expect them to put their prices up again. I said they would before, so hey that's one prediction come true

I'm just pissed off that they're not being more honest with you about whether their stock deliveries are actually confirmed or not. Noone has any 3GS stock at the moment, and therefore trade pricing is crazy. We ourselves have very little stock at present.
What confuses me is why they're taking preorders for the Palm Pre. They cannot have any idea of what the trade pricing will be, when the phones will be available, or whether they can buy them unbranded. In my speculative opinion they've totally ****ked up again with the pricing.
At least they knew the official iPhone price and the fact they would be unbranded, when they began taking preorders!

I totally respect your answer and your frustration as well as a seller, the only positive thing I can say about handtec right now is that they do reply to nearly all emails and I do think their sales staff must be getting a hell of a lot of grief over everyone waiting for their orders.
As for prices I agree as they have raised their prices twice since I preordered mine and I expect prices to keep going up but at least they have to honour the price we all preordered ours at.
The Palm Pre preordering is a joke as it won't be released here in the UK until at least Sep-Oct so I hope for anyone who has preordered one that they know they are in for a very long wait.
Right now I cannot really complain as all along I have known it will be a good 2 weeks before my order is shipped but I do feel for Dream who has being told many empty promises and they have delivered on nothing.
The same statement of received small numbers but waiting on big order. i think its the big order that should be delivered next week.

They do not expect any date of delivery of any iphone stock shortly at all.
that is what I have been told and they can not provide any date even they did not tell me next week cause they are not even sure about it.

One place in Italy is very good place to get a 3GS

The prices are a little bit higher and they ship to other countries...BUT they use courier service and it will cost 80euros+VAT to get it shipped, so a 32GB 3GS would be something like a 800euros.

They told me that they can't provide me with tracking number. They also said they are getting small numbers of phone and are shipping on the basis of first first served. I told him that i made my order on the 30th of June and i said, when do you think i will get it. He said definitely if not the end of this week, it will be the end of next week.
There is an old saying: "follow the liar to his home door" i.e. i think i will just wait till mid of next week and call again if i don't receive the phone.
Note for other members: sorry for hijacking the thread, but we all want factory unlocked phones, so we all have the same aim, but me and the guys are just using different method.

I know they have told you the same before, but then there is nothing else we can do other than canceling the order. To be honest, i am not ready to splash extra £300 to get the phone from some other company. My only other option is asking one of my relative to buy it for. Unfortunately, he is not going their anytime soon. He told me that he will be going to France on the 1st of August and after he finishes their he will pass by Italy to pick one for himself. So, for now i don't think i have a choice
