That's sound similar to the type of answer i had over the phone. I don't think we have a choice. Anybody have any other ideas?!

That's really really really cheap. What's wrong with this (UK) country!!!!!. I don't know anybody myself, but i think one of my best friend have a a very good friend their...mmm...If the issue doesn't resolve by next week, then i maybe tempted.

One of my best mates has relations out there.. I think his brother lives there too if I remember correctly.

If handtec don't deliver by the end of next week I will be very tempted as well, even if you factor £60+ for shipping its still much cheaper than handtec already.

Might be faster too ;)

I just texted my friend and asked him if he has a very very good friend there, somebody he can trust with his money, he said, YES lol :D. That's really good news. Maybe this is a sign that we should ditch handtec lol :D.

Seriously, i agree with you, i think i will wait to next week, if i don't like what they say be the end of it, then i will pursue this path. Thanks for the head up ;)

haha i checked that site out and it looks like someone designed it with the lights turned off... my money would be much safer with enron if they existed! lol
 
but Australian iphone chargers comes with that Australian 3-Pin Electrical Mains Plug right?

The average shipping price on ebay for a aus 3gs is around £50 so this would put it at about £560 to £570... I am thinking to text my mate too!

BTW, TIM is a telecommunication company in Italy (i.e. Vodafone, O2....etc). But unfortunately you can't order from their website unless you are in italy.
One guy was asking if there are any iphones in italy, so here you go... Go to TIM and get it and leave us live in hell with handtec :D
 
Just to clarify on the Australians iphones, all are locked right? you need to request them to unlock it for you after you buy it or how is the process... anybody knows?

They are unlocked right from the factory so no messing about, just put in your sim and away you go.

lol it looks like copy paste but they added more phrase for me since I am headache for them lol

It seems that am annoying them by mails but in general they are very ploite and they never ignore your mail. It is a fact I can not deny it but it seems that the reply is copy/paste from yours dale.

in Australia, all iphones are locked to carrier (Optus, Telstra, Vodafone) BUT *All Carrier offers authorized unlocking (*May include an additional fee or requirement. Contact carrier for more information.). This is what's written... So guys double check before going ahead with Australians iphones...

I think if you buy them through a carrier they are locked like you said but from apple directly they come factory unlocked.

If the phones where all locked then anyone ordering from ebay will have a very unpleasant surprise when they put in their sim!

Can anyone clarify?
 
I guess I was of the lucky ones....

My 16g ordered from the italian apple store on the 30th has been delivered yesterday!!!! :) (at least according to the TNT tracking)

Now I need to wait until my friend comes back from Italy on the 19th. Getting very excited!!!!

Regarding Australian iphones take a look @

So now does that mean we can insert any SIM card and unlock through itunes or it needs to be a SIM card of one of the Australian Carriers ? do we have to pay for any AU carrier or what?

can anyone can apple Australia ? i couldn't find a way to email them!
