are we all getting mixed signals?

I think we are :confused:. This is why as i said in one of my previous post that i am going to be patient until the end of the next week period.

i think patience is the key .. i expect/hope /pray.... that i will get my new 32gb 3GS in the next couple of weeks

it looks to me no-one in Belgium has any stock so one must assume mobistar
will be actively seeking new stock and as a consequence Macline and other resellers will also obtain stock

i still have a fairly positive outlook

i still have my 16GB 3g and the Jailbreak of the 3GS has not yet been perfected you cannot use winter board as yet although they are working on it ..

i am on 2 waiting lists and hope to be contacted as soon as stock arrives
failing that if anyone hears of stock in belgium please let me know

I just seams odd everyone is out of unlocked iphones. I wonder if there is a problem with manufacturing?

Well, I did manage to speak to someone at MacLine in Woluwe who confirmed that no stock had arrived today.

I had been hoping to obtain one before I go on vacation back to the UK on Wednesday next week but I'm getting pretty fed up with the situation and may just give up. I'll be back again in Belgium at the end of the month and you'd think that they would have got the situation sorted out by then.

Why the heck we can't just order directly from Apple is quite beyond me.

Apple has this little thing call money. why sell it to you at a sensible price if they can sell the product to the networks at a ridicules price.

It's about volume. Much easier to ship 10.000 units to one customer and let them have the hassle ;)

True but then why can you buy an unlocked 3GS from Apple in Italy? That's what I don't understand. The situation in Belgium is just a mess.

the problem seems to be that only about 1500 units arrived in belgium for the launch

hence the difficulty in obtaining a new 3GS

hopefully this time around Belgium will receive more units ..:D
 
Belgium is a very small country; it will seem odd if they end up selling more iphones then the whole population. I’m not sure why apple can sell unlocked iphones in Italy, but there should be a law against restricting customers.

This whole thing is stupid.

hmmm they told me the same two weeks ago :mad:

they never specify a date for shipping.
 
Just found out that a lady from work has ordered 2 iphones from italy as a guy we work with is italian... shame I never asked her before as I could of got one very soon.
 
As I said before, many of my friends requested many other phones and they all got them next day.

just to be fair, They have a problem only with iphone :mad:

Not today I will call them tomorrow if I get my replacement 3GS (battery not charging fully on mine) which is proving to be a right pain in the butt.

I am sure when they get stock we will all get our phones very quickly afterwards.
 
I think Phonedevil, is monitoring the situation in the thread, and crossing fingers that their is something wrong with handtec lol :D Although, i will give it to him, that at least he cares about us :D

i have notced more and more problems with the iphone. i hope i dont have to send mine back after waiting so long to get it.

LOL well that could be true also he might be waiting for some orders from whoever loses patience with handtec.

One thing I will say though is now that handtec have raised their prices more in line with everyone else it does make it look more legit however it makes it harder to look elsewhere and pay more for the same item.
