It does not list that is optimized for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus under the "What's New" area. It does however list it under the "Information" section. I've attached a screenshot. I'm still waiting for maintenance to be over to confirm if I see any physical changes or not besides the content update.

Instacast updated to 5.0. Finally sync is working again, with the Mac version.

Wow, 99 cents to unlock night mode? Not that it's a lot of money, but I guess this is the new business model that they were talking about. I switched to Downcast a few weeks ago because they updated for iPhone 6 first. I'm really digging that app, plus the Mac app was half of what Instacast charges. But I hope Instacast continues to do well. They served me well for a couple of years.

Indeed, not an advertised feature of the update, but it sure is optimized. The text is definitely sharper.

But they confirmed (via Twitter) that they are working hard at it.

I guess apps that involves a lot of graphics rather than texts like Spotify would take a bit more time.
Which is why I don't really understand how it took Whatsapp this long. :(

They've also said they're working on the iPad refresh... It's been a year now

We're going to upload a new version of Showyou to the AppStore tomorrow, should be out next week.

It'll have a lot of improvements for iOS8, including better support for the new iPhone sizes. This new release will also have a "share extension" so you can add videos to your Showyou "Watch Later" queue or to your channel when you're using the YouTube app or browsing the web (where there is an embedded video from YouTube or Vimeo).

Email excerpt from one of the Showyou developers. Very excited for this.
