Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
hahahahahahahahaha ROFLAO!!! This has made my day, I laughed so hard when I saw what they've announced, 16 GIGABYTES hahaha then jumps to 64!!!! hahahaha

Yeah Apple, just don't worry about making the 32GB the base line model so you can squeeze that much more bottom line out of everyone....

And I'm sorry, but you are a blind MUG if you buy a 5.5" iPhone 6 with 16GB of NON expandable memory for £619! Oh but don't worry as you can pay Apple a monthly fee for 20GB cloud storage instead which isn't secure hahaha..

And as for the different cameras! Again increase that profit margin Apple..

64GB is priced at the same margin that the 32GB used to be priced at.

difference is they had the features without the ability to use them as easily as apple makes them. each time apple "copies" a feature, it is at least done right the first time, rather than tweaked over 2-3 years until they get it right.

Hmm. I'd give more credit to the people who have an idea and improve it over time. Compared to one who just watches and copies.

hahahah best... yeah Ok, I do believe I'm Watch 'attempted' to sell Gold smart watches and I'm pretty sure they didn't sell many, I bet the Swiss are shaking in their boots..

Apple has failed big time, it made a huge structure to simply show off a couple of phones and a watch, desperation is all I saw...

I'll just continue to dream about the Mac Pro, one of the few Apple products worth the cash.

Yeah, and the reason they haven't made 32GB the starting storage space is because........................

I've used Note 2, Note 3, Tab Pro/S, Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, LG G3... you name it... they're laggy. If you don't perceive them as laggy.. good for you, we have different standards and use smartphones differently. Personally I'm tired of a slow phone. I'd gladly take speed over some of the great functionalities of the Android OS.

Lol the purists won't like that. When I first started to use android devices in 2012 they were laggy. However there hasn't been any lag on the last two generation of android flagship devices.

If I ate eggs, flour, butter, and sugar, on their own it wouldn't taste like a cake. It's more important how the ingredients are put together.

no. we just want a phone that works, and works right with no lag. i switched to a GS4 last year before the 5s was announced bc i was pissed about screen size and hearing the 5s wasn't going bigger i got a galaxy s4 bc i wanted a bigger screen. 2 weeks later i returned it and got an htc one bc android on samsung was horrible. now don't get me wrong the htc one was great, htc's take on android i think is the best I've seen and i loved it but i felt like android takes too many steps to do something like you have to press 6 buttons before u can make a call. apps look so much better on iOS devices and i didn't like the way android uses mms for group chats and the pictures don't automatically load, you can to click it in the message for it to open. little things that made my life harder but if i came up only using android maybe it wouldn't bother me but ps i went back to a 5s and was clamoring for a bigger screen phone and now I'm thinking after getting a 5.5 i might not have to upgrade for a while bc theres nothing more honestly i need out of my phone

It took me three steps.

So the Galaxy S5 has OIS just like the Note 4?

Won't disagree regarding the base memory though--should start at 32GB.

"each time apple copies something, the feature has been established" and everybody can say, hey apple did it again ;) so it takes always 2-3 years to become popular until apple copies it. it has really nothing to do with apple and innovation, it is only apple is waiting to let it be and develope until they copy it.

Nothing is perfect. I hope I'm not breaking this to you.

Apple sells an experience. You buy an iPhone and it is guaranteed to work with every other Apple product you have. Apple will support that product for several years with OS upgrades. They give you lots of free software. You can pop into any Apple store in most any decent sized city and get help/support/warranty repairs and replacements immediately. That is what you are paying for.

Compare that to Samsung? They give you a lot of crazy features, but do you really care if the movie stops playing when you stop looking at it? You are lucky to get one Android OS update, let alone 3 or 4. And where do you go when it breaks? The ATT or Verizon store?!?

There are tradeoffs with everything. Fortunately there are lots of options so people can make their own choices. This isn't Russia... is this Russia?

You go to the Samsung experience store. You will get at least 2 software updates.

It is true that the Nexus 5 was the fastest of the Android devices I tried, but it still lagged. If people didn't experience lag, then again, they don't have the same standards as me and they use it differently. I admit, I'm not the average user I'm a tech freak and I do notice lag and minor glitches that other people would just forgive and forget. For an example, when comparing my Note to my girlfriend's iPhone I told her that the white colors on my Note were awfully yellow compared to the sharp white on her iPhone, she told me it wouldn't bother her at all and she wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't point it out. That's the average user for you and of course they wouldn't notice lag on an android phone especially not the Nexus 5 which was the best one in my opinion. I still stuck with the Note for the screen size and now that iPhone is available at 5.5" I'm pretty tempted at buying one. But the 128gb i6+ is damn expensive! Makes the Note 4 very attractive considering the price. I might go 64gb instead and just remove pictures from my phone after uploading them to dropbox.

Hahahahha Note 10.1 not laggy. Funniest joke ever. Just do a quick google search for "Note 10.1 lag/slow". I returned my Note 10.1 after 1 days of use.

My £369 Nexus 5 has OIS........ oh and 32GB storage and 2GB RAM, actually I see they have NOT announced the RAM.... I wonder why....

Will be very interesting to see the iPhone 4.7' go up against the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

My first android device was the original note which was a 2011 device. My boyfriend got the S3 and that wasn't laggy.

Good luck making payment with NFC on your Nexus device. I couldn't even get Google Wallet on my HTC One. Talk about segmentation, at least Apple is making NFC payment universal.

My iPhone 4 isn't laggy today and it's 4 years old.

My iPhone 4 is incredibly laggy, but this is with iOS6 and up. It's unusable at times. This is the non S model that I have sitting in a drawer as an emergency phone. It wasn't too laggy with iOS5 though in all fairness.

I lol'd but it made me think, the point it makes is quite true. The iPhone 6 introduces nothing 'revolutionary', 'magical' or something which makes it stand out from it's competitors. To date, it still lacks in some areas and yet a lot of Apple users are made to feel that they're getting something truly amazing.

Yes Apple do it better and to a higher quality than their competitors but when you really look at it, they're still far behind and what we've seen from the iPhone 6 is nothing new. Apple are just playing catch-up instead of others playing catch-up with Apple. I think this has been the most disappointing iPhone yet.

What are your thoughts?

I can get my SMS and iMessages as well as their full content on my computer integrated into the main OS. No 3rd party extensions or special apps required. I don't have to have Chrome open, or sign up for a service. It'll also show up on my iPad too and I'll also get my phone calls with the option to answer on any device.

That right there alone is my reason for picking the iPhone 6 over the Moto X.

Can't wait to dump this awful S4.

Way to deflect and not answer the question. You ragged on Apple for gauging customers by including a different camera in the higher priced model? I think the opposite would've deserved criticism, if they were charging a premium price yet offering no additional functionality. So answer the question, does Samsung include all of the same features in each of their high end smartphones, including the cameras?

Apple has never discussed certain internal specs like RAM or battery capacity at any of their keynotes. As in the past, we won't know any of that until someone like iFixit tears it down. And it probably won't have 2GB of RAM--one aspect I'll admittedly be disappointed about as I'm a bit tired of constantly refreshing webpages.
