Oh i agree with you about it. But it doesn't fit the sales versus supply comments being made in this thread.

Let me simplify it:
Samsung CEO said that Samsung's entire smartphone range will face over supply issues.
Apple's CEO hasn't.

Ask tsepz he was the one that brought it up, don't think he understands much about it though.

Your comparing a 4 year old phone to the s7, a 2016 phone?
One that was just replaced by the iPhone se?

Are you calling the s7 edge obsolete.
Because the 5s is obsolete.
He said SE. Seems you're the one with a reading problem bud.

Ok so your comparing Apples budget device to Samsung's flagship?
No not at all you brought sales and over supply issues. So by your theory.....the 5se has an oversupply problem because it is on BOGO sale right now.

I thought we were talking about promotions and oversupply issues you want to talk about sales and profit.

Ok. I will bite.
Up from what do you know?
And what time period do you want to talk about?

no....YOU brought up sales and profits....as you always do in every Android thread you participate in. They have nothing to do with end user experience or the speed of the devices. They only matter to investors. But it was a nice deflection attempt by you....

No Samsung's CEO brought up increases competion and oversupply issues.

Tim Cook hasn't.
If Tim Cook has stated the iPhone has oversupply issues then proceeded to offer promotions then it would be the same. He hasn't.

Do you understand. The promo issue was brought up by another member that doesn't know what he is talking about talk to him about it.

No you alluded to Samsung oversupply issues being the reason they were running sales and promotions.
We are pointing out that the new iPhone SE is on BOGO right now on some carriers in the US.
Then i posted links to show you Samsung is having better than expected sales of the Galaxy S7\Edge.
They also are reporting better than projected profits. So that shoots down you previous posts about oversupply leading to sales and promotions.

I didn't allude to it I flat out posted it, a quote from the CEO of Samsung. Instead of debating it all your doing is deflecting with the iPhone se and Saying let's not talk about Samsung or what the CEO said.

But you know better and those analysts know better than Samsung's CEO the guy jk reports to.
Ok.

What was the projection?

Ok so you can't back up what you posted and you claim I'm deflecting. Fine.

Still doesn't change the fact that Samsung's CEO stated that their smartphones are having oversupply issues and increased competition.

LOL....all smartphone makers have increased competition. Didn't Tim Cook say iphone sales were flat. So does that mean they have over supply? Just give it up.....

Call me stupid but if sales are better than expected, wouldn't that mean there is no supply issues?

Let me break it down for you. If Samsung expected 10 million s7 to be sold in first qtr so they made 10 million. Then after release sales are better than expected in first qtr. Wouldn't that mean sales are more then 10 million hence a lack of supply?

Now I have not seeing the quote you mentioned about Samsung CEO regarding oversupply. However common sense and logic would seem there is no supply issues. But that's just me.

I think you lack quite a bit of understanding in the subject. Implying sales does not relate to supply. But maybe I am wrong and you're right ...or maybe you're Apple blinders are a bit too tight.

No that means it was flat.
Samsung CEO used the word oversupply not flat.
They mean two different things.
LOL....so if sales decline....it leads to oversupply. That is a given. It just one CEO used different verbiage.
[doublepost=1459430188][/doublepost]
Yes that means it's not happening to them.
Apple CEO addressed it as flat.
Wrong!

Where did you get the 10 million sales number?
