Bro, if you read further back you'll see what we are talking about. I updated my delivery to be held at the hub and then got that notification. If it doesn't clear itself up I plan to call UPS and make sure they got the change request. I'm not worried about it, bro.

Does anyone know how far along we are in the status changes from "Processing Order" to "Preparing for Shipment" on the Jet Black Iphone7 Plus 128GB? I got my confirmation email at 02:13 CST on 09/09...

I used Apple Pay and my credit card has not been charged yet. It's been in prepare for shipping since yesterday. Phone is not on support profile or UPS my choice. Order details doesn't indicate any problems with payment though...it's just weird.

Has anyone went from a Plus to regular?

I have a 6 and am concerned the 7 Plus I ordered will be too big.
I have the 6 and my wife the 6plus. I felt that if you carry the plus in pants pockets it was just too uncomfortable so stuck with the 7

Same boat here. Only mine just went from Preparing to Ship, back to Processing. :/
 
I ordered a jet black 7+ 128gb fairly late in the day through Apple so naturally my order says November. My question is will this realistically be when it ships or is that a very conservative estimate? Also is it possible to call and change my order to a flat black one in hopes of getting a better shipping date?

Same here. But I was charged for Apple Care + and case. No tax yet. Any update on you shipping? Nothing on my end and I've tried everything.

Who ordered the 128GB Jet Black Iphone 7 Plus whose status has changed to preparing for shipment? Whats the time stamp on your email? We can keep tally from there..

I have a 6 Plus and ordered a 7. I love the Plus but it is difficult for me to use one-handed so I'm going to give the smaller screen a try. I have a feeling I will end up going back to the Plus next year, however.
 
Mine is showing "Exception" but when I click the tracking everything is fine; my request is just pending. No idea. I will give it until tomorrow then give UPS a ring if it doesn't go away.
Yep same here. Clicking on tracking number shows all good. Also tracking on website shows no exception. Will chat or call them tomorrow to fix it. Last year also happened same but in the end I was able to pick up from ups cc without any hassle on launch day morning.

I believe having it held at a UPS Store comes with a risk of delaying the delivery. Having it held at a UPS Hub (which is what I did) does not.
Ups store will delay it. Ups customer center will not. Can pick up same day morning right before the deliveries go out. Better to do that than wait for ups driver to show up.

The "Exception" is most likely to hold delivery until the 16th because it's probably already in the States and would ordinarily be available for delivery prior to that date.
