Just got a notification that Apple hit my credit card with another authorization attempt, this time for the full amount of the order (first time was $1 at time of placing the order). Ordered a 128 GB Black iPhone 7, for in store pickup on 9/16. Status of the order remains at "Processing Items".
Haven't seen other posts from people using in store pickup and having their card charged for the full amount, so figured I'd share this info.

How exactly are people finding their preorders in their Support Profiles? My Devices on the Apple Store app only shows my currently activated devices and my Support Profile page on Apple's site lists only three of my old phones, but doesn't include my old 5 or current 6 Plus.

Yeah, I know all Verizon Iphones come unlocked from the get go but it might not support some of T-mobile's LTE bands.

I ordered for in-store pickup on the 16th. I've never done that before - what should I expect? Still shows processing. When should the status change, and to what? Obviously not preparing for shipping.

I agree. I usually wait until the day before delivery to request hold for pickup so that I'm more confident of the destination hub.

The only way to know that is to find out from someone in your office when UPS usually arrives, but as stated by someone else, they have until the end of the day (usually by 8pm).
I see now thanksIf it's Next Day Air with a business address, it HAS to be delivered to businesses by 10:30 AM. I'm not sure what service level these packages are since they're being shipped internationally. Second Day Air here in Portland is treated as Ground, regardless of residential or business, so delivery is by the end of the day, typically anywhere around 3-8 PM.
