I have a Spigen glass screen protector that's held up very well on my current phone and am therefore inclined to stick with that brand.
Mine must be on the same plane as yours and is coming from Mars or something. Curiously, they still show November on the order page. I'm going to watch the stores once they release for in-store pick-up but I believe ours will change to late October shortly. Jonny Ive just hasn't gotten around to hand polishing our cases yet.
This is correct, Everytime I have them hold a package it says "exception".
Edit : I didn't read this right, the exception is you having them hold it for pickup, though.

The exception is just there because you requested pickup. In my experience it's best to request pickup once it's closer to delivery date.
I ordered a iPhone 7 128gb matte black and 42mm space gray sport watch on Friday when pre orders opened. The watch is in my support profile but no phone yet. Both have a delivery date of 9/16 and are preparing for shipment. Order confirmed email at 03:11 got into Apple Store about 03:05 W42 order number and pending charges on credit card

Thank you! The problem is that if those hubs aren't the sorting destination for the package, then requesting for it to be routed there will cause a delay just as if I requested that it be sent to a UPS store for pick up.i appreciate the suggestion, though.
It will be different depending on where you are. In my experience most business deliveries happen before 3pm, but can sometimes be later depending out how busy UPS is.

My wife's 7 128GB Silver is preparing to ship. 9/16 delivery date.
My 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black is still "Processing Items" 9/16-10/3 delivery date.
Both of us are on Verizon.

I agree. I usually wait until the day before delivery to request hold for pickup so that I'm more confident of the destination hub.

The only way to know that is to find out from someone in your office when UPS usually arrives, but as stated by someone else, they have until the end of the day (usually by 8pm).
No, UPS prioritizes business address deliveries to make sure they are delivered prior to closing times.

Hmm. Geekbench is showing the iP7 faster than the iP7+ despite the memory bump.
I know the 6 & 6S were quicker than the Plus but I thought the extra memory would help it pull away.
I'm so conflicted on if I should keep my Plus order or get the 7. It's a 2 year choice.

Just got a notification that Apple hit my credit card with another authorization attempt, this time for the full amount of the order (first time was $1 at time of placing the order). Ordered a 128 GB Black iPhone 7, for in store pickup on 9/16. Status of the order remains at "Processing Items".
Haven't seen other posts from people using in store pickup and having their card charged for the full amount, so figured I'd share this info.
