iPhone 7 Plus 128 gb Gold. First time getting the plus size. I had the iphone 6 and wanted the bigger scree.

I was wanting a large screen phone so much that I was seriously considering getting a Galaxy Note in 2014 and then Apple came out with the 6 Plus. I grabbed one and haven't looked back. My wife has the 6, and it's just too small for me. I love the Plus size, and I've had no issues with carrying or using it. Of course, it's the opposite for others, but I think you'll love it.

It's totally personal preference. I've had the plus size since it became available, but my boyfriend loathes the larger phones so much that he upgraded to an SE this year. People just like what they like.

Was it delivered to your house?
Yes, delivered to my house. We live right by the UPS Hub, but for some reason our stuff always comes about 5pm. Ugh, the horror of waiting until I get home! LOL

Did anyone's iPhone go from preparing to ship back to processing iteams? And Idea what this means
Mine did yesterday, about 3pm or so, after being in preparing for shipment all weekend. It is now back to preparing for shipment, as of 8am this morning. It's normal, and doesn't really mean much. :)

I ordered an iPhone 7 Plus, 256 GB; and, signed up for the Apple Upgrade Program at around 12:08 (PST). I paid for expedited shipping and still got a date of 9/23 to 9/27 w/ 2-3 Business Day Delivery. The crazy part is that I got a phone call from Apple on Saturday night from a representative who wanted to confirm that I made the order on Friday morning. When I asked if there was a problem, he said that it was just a courtesy call; and, that he would push through the order and I should get a tracking number. I still haven't seen anything. Has anyone else received a call from Apple? I've never had this happen before.

I have never heard that, Apple calling individuals. There is a first time for everything.

Actually, coming earlier is better for me, since it takes forEVER for my 128gb phone to restore from iCloud. It does that all day, so if I start at 9 am, it might be pretty much done by the time I leave work for the day.

So I ordered a 7 plus Matt black 32G with an email time stamp of 3:06 est. I got the sept 27-29 delivery date. I don't mind standing outside the Apple Store and waiting in line. At what point this week that I see no change with the processing should I cancel and go and go to the store Friday?

Ok, here's a question since I'm salty af regarding the slipped shipping window:

For those of you who successfully had a change (decrease) in shipping times, how did you find out? Does Apple send another email? Or did the text merely change in the "Your Orders" section on their website?

I want to know if refreshing the Your Orders page would produce results.

I look at imaging studies. So the larger screen the better, so besides personal preference I would consider applications.

They didn't send me an email. All they did was updating the shipping date on the order status page. :D

I personally wouldn't cancel the order yet. You could go to the store on Friday and try to get the iPhone you want. If you get it, just cancel the order then. And if you don't then you still have a "fast" delivery date pre order

You'd better wait till Friday or else you might screw yourself totally. Make sure you can actually get what you wanted at the store before cancelling your order. I had this last year..same thing ..couldn't connect to the store at 3am sharp. That time it took till 3:40 to get my order in. So I got an October delivery date. I went to the store on launch day and they ran out before the 100 people ahead of me had even gotten into the store. So I went home empty handed and still had to wait for my order. The only good thing is that the date slipped earlier and my wait was a week less than originally expected.

My delivery date never changed. Was 9/27-29 at checkout, email and on status page.
