More like already gone before the store even opened lol. I didn't get into the Apple Store App until 3:03 and that's when my order was finalized. 9/26-10/3 :(
I didn't get in until 3:03 either, but I got my confirmation email at 3:08 because the Apple Store app didn't save my card information. Same delivery date, maybe I'm lucky for cutting it so close?

The dates slipped in what seemed like immediately. They were into November before I even went back to bed. That was maybe only a half hour or so after placing my order.

Quick question - does the reference number trick for UPS work on billing/shipping phone number or the number attached to the phone? I ordered two phones (two different numbers, of course), but under the same billing/shipping phone number. One shows under UPS, the other does not. Thanks!
You would use your billing/shipping phone number to track by reference.

I remember that right as the app store opened, the ship date was automatically 1-2 weeks, and then it suddenly went to 3-4 weeks, I didn't even see 2-3 weeks because I checked my email after I ordered. Ugh.

Got my arrival scan at 12:55pm in Anchorage. Now the question is where does it go to from here? I live on west coast. Will be monitoring UPS departing flights today.

So, it looks like UPS99 continues on to Louisville around 4:30p AK time. Looks like our phones should be in Louisville before we wake up! Any bets on when we'll get the shipping confirmation? Before they leave AK? Or after they arrive in Louisville?

Tried the UPS trick and one of my watches is in Alaska. The other watch and 2 iPhones show nothing yet, even the iPhone that currently shows preparing for shipment.

What do people mean when they say the phone is showing up in their "support profile" ?

I ordered a JB 7+ at 12:03AM PST and Im set for delivery by 10/4 - 10/10. Its ridiculous that these phones sold out so fast.

Funny, I started with the app store app. It would never load. I would force close it and open it again but all I would get is the message saying to check back. I also kept refreshing the website on my phone in Safari. Eventually, around 15 minutes after preorders started, the app finally loaded. When contacting my carrier, the app kept receiving an error. I kept pressing retry for a few minutes before giving up and getting on my PC.

Guess what. The process went smoothly on my PC and I was able to finalize my purchase. In my case, using the app store app was a failure. I wasn't able to get the site to load on my PC until around 15 minutes after it started as well. I was sitting at my PC, refreshing both my phone and PC until one of them loaded. The server became available on both devices at the same time, but I chose to use the app store app since it already knew my phone info. Like I said, this ended up being a dead end because it couldn't reach AT&T. However, I was able to successfully place my order using my PC.

How can you people who were lucky enough to be able to quickly access the store act all smug and talk like everyone else who did the exact same thing as you did were just ignorant/uninformed??? You're being ridiculous. Some people just couldn't get through to the server for 15 to 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it only took 15 minutes for the more popular options to sell out for launch day.

This is exactly what happened to me. The app isn't always the answer, at least not this time. I'm also AT&T and when the app finally did load, about ten minutes after the hour, it kept getting hung up on the handshake with AT&T. I eventually moved to the website and was able to get my order through there with a 2:26 am confirmation email and 10/4-10/10 shipping window. However, based on prior years' experience, I'm betting we'll still get ours on release date. I think Apple is very conservative and would rather reduce our expectations and exceed them.
