3 minutes??? I got an early release (10.0.1) on the 7th since I beta tested the public version and it took over an hour!!
Yes, you're right! I did not look at the actual departure times. So here is hoping that we are on that flight!
Sorry I realize that my post wasn't quite clear. I had to search by phone number as the reference # because order # didn't turn up any results.
When I placed my preorder, there was a delay with Sprint's servers. I didn't get the order completed until 3:32am EST. I'm thinking that the 256gb matte black must've been short on supply because it was delayed to 6-8 business day to ship.

so i only have an arrival scan into Hong Kong, no departure scan...but when I saw it this morning, I went over to flightaware & i thought it was this flight: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS63 but I'm guessing not since I have no departure scan? or sometimes it's super delayed and won't get updated until they land?

I finally got my tracking number by using my 10 digit billing phone# as a reference. The only other reference I saw I could have used was my iPhone 7 serial number. The order# was not listed...truncated or otherwise. There were other references, but none that meant anything to me.

Did you call Apple or chat with an online rep to get your shipping expedited? I'm in a similar situation where I'm heading on the road for a month and am hoping I can somehow get my phone before I leave on the 23rd (27-29 ship date currently). Total long shot, and improbable, but just curious if at all possible.

Same here. Once I saw my actual reference #s listed, I realized that there was no way that searching by Order # was ever going to work. Just serial and phone, and, like you said, a few other seemingly meaningless (to me) other numbers.
No movement for me. Still says Processing Items Ships: 6-8 business days Delivers 27 Sep, 2016 - 29 Sep, 2016 by Standard Shipping. I ordered a 7+ 128GB Silver. My order went through about 90 minutes after they went live.
I'm in the same boat. Ordered 7+ 128GB silver, 33 minutes past when the store opened.
No reference tracking, not in my support profile, still processing with a 27-29 delivery.
I've yet to see anyone with a 27-29 delivery have any luck tracking.
Has anyone who are picking up the iPhone 7 at an Apple Store this Friday moved beyond "processing"?
I also received my iPhone 5 the day before. I was amazed but it has never happened since then.
I haven't and haven't seen that anyone else has either. I've been asking as well. It doesn't seem like many people on this forum chose that option. I'm pretty confident that we'll get ours on Friday though. If that is what your pickup time says then I'm pretty sure you're good.
