I have had iPhones switch from Processing to Shipped the day before launch, and the initial scan was in the US (with UPS). I wonder if you call FedEx, would they tell you who the package is from just to make sure that it's Apple?

So anyone else having more then one pending transaction on there CC? im looking at my CC and for 2 7+ 128gigs in one order for a total of $1842.28 i have a pending charge on 9/12 and 9/13?

After I ordered the Black 256 7 Plus and saw the date was 27 Sep, 2016 - 29 Sep, 2016, I ordered another for in store pickup for 9/16 8 AM, 256 RG 7 Plus. I really think I want the black, so if this one doesn't ship, I am hopeful the store will have one.

I am at work and I cannot read the previous posts. I have a 16th delivery date and I was able to track my phone by reference yesterday (it was in China and then Alaska).

Starting this morning when I try to track by reference again, it can't find it.

Happened to anyone else?

I feel your pain, same for me. And I got my email confirmation at 3:11 EST.
 
The one thing I am not seeing is notifications from Apple that phones have shipped. When does that generally happen??

pernding charge on AMEX disappeared this morning don't know what it means

When you first tracked by reference wouldn't you note tracking number and then use it for subsequent tracking?

I ordered the same model at 3:11 am EST, and see no updates at all. October 4 to 10 for me as well. Apple really didn't make enough inventory ahead of time this year, if they cant even keep up with 11 minutes of demand. What I really don't like, is that you can walk into a store and still buy the phone on launch day and any day after. Not a guarantee to get one, but a good chance that improves as each day goes by. Why do they let us pre-order, but then just ship the majority of their stock to the stores??

Same here. I am thinking I'll be able to get one in a store long before mid October rolls around. Hoping so at least.

I think it will say shipped once the phone is on its way to our specified delivery address. I wouldn't be too worried. This was pretty much the same schedule I had last year and I got my phone on launch day.

My Matte Black 256GB 7+ has been in Louisville for over 24 hours! I hope it makes it to the Orlando hub today and then onto Tampa!!

Thanks for checking that out -- I called Fedex and they said that it's some type of shipping facility transit point where lots of packages go through. They couldn't confirm if it was from Apple, Lexus or anybody else, so I guess the mystery continues. If it ends up being a car pamphlet, I'm gonna be hella pissed. :p
