welcome to the club :( I'll share my wine with you!
This has happened before and it still delivered on time.

I'm just waiting on UPS to deliver now

I am in San Diego and had the delay notification for the typhoon on 9/14, but it shoed as scanned in Kentucky at 3:00am. The status of mine just changed to Delayed, but no real other info. Anyone in San Diego (or SoCal in general) get theirs?
I'm in San Diego as well. It's been showing 9/16 all this morning and now it says delivery info unavailable. Last scan was Louisville import scan.

Did anyone else originally have a "Delivers Sept 16" on their order and then get a UPS tracking number with a 9/20 delivery? I ordered within the first 15 minutes of the presale and ended up getting a reservation number that I had troubles with. Eventually the reservation number worked and I placed the order the following day and was supposed to have my "spot in line" held. Also, my order on Apple's Orders webpage doesn't say anything about a delayed delivery.

Just curious if anyone had this problem with UPS and ended up getting their phone delivered today yet? UPS says the package is in ZhengZhou, CN still, but I'm hoping it just hasn't been updated yet...

Edit: The configuration I ordered was iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Black Sprint.

This. 7 Plus 128GB rose gold ATT. Had shown delivers Sept 16 up until this morning but never received any tracking info until then. Tracking now shows delivers Sept 21. Called Apple CS this morning and they confirmed I was guaranteed a Sept 16 delivery however there was a "glitch" in the system and the phone just shipped from China this morning. A major disappointment.

Just so everyone knows I got my Iphone 6+ just now! The tracking showed that it left Louisville, KY at 4:06 A.M. and I'm in CA.

Out of curiosity, what's the longest time frame for "Preparing for Delivery" that you've experienced? Mine is supposed to be delivered between Sept 23rd - Sept 27th; just seems to be a long time to be in that mode.

Mine is on its way.

While still stuck in the 27-29 crowd, thought I'd make sure I'm prepared for next week...

So if my 6 has the latest software installed, the process is, set up the 7 as a "new phone", upgrade it first, then restore from the 6 backup. Correct?

Hope you are all having fun playing with your phones! At least mine moved to "preparing shipment". Just waiting on a tracking number and date change.

RG iPhone 7plus, IUP, Att
Ordered 11am Sept 9

This has been the longest work day ever! 1 hour to quittin' time! Jet Black iPhone 7 still on the truck, though.

Just waited almost an hour for Apple Chat. The specialist I chatted with said my order had probably been delayed due to the Typhoon and that UPS would have the most accurate delivery schedule. He didn't mention anything about a glitch, but that seems more plausible because those affected by the Typhoon have had delivery exceptions added to their UPS tracking information and mine isn't showing any exceptions. The specialist did say that UPS is doing everything possible to make deliveries as on time as possible so I suppose that's reassuring.

I'm just too excited to get my hands on my new iPhone!!

I am so ****ing pissed (in a first world way), my 7+ 128 MB was originally scheduled for today, but UPS is now saying 9/19. It's been in town since yesterday early afternoon. ****ing UPS....
