So I twitted to UPS and was told to email them. This is the email reply I received from ups in regards to the delayed Saturday delivery. Guess I'll just have to wait and hope it would show up tomorrow. I cancelled the will call pick up also since the cc here doesn't open on Saturday.
On my way home for lunch decided to take short detour through town to see if I might run into UPS truck. I turn left and immediately see UPS truck, I get excited pull up beside him when he stopped to make delivery. I asked if I could get my package now if I showed ID. First question he asked was where I lived and when I gave him my street address he immediately said that is another truck that doesn't usually come to town till after 12:30 This was at about 11AM. "Darn it" guess I'll have to wait till the normal 2-4 PM delivery I normally get. I went from excitement to reality. Patiently waiting in CA

But I did it backwards (restored from a 10.0.1 backup onto the 10.0 phone and THEN updated it to 10.0.1), and I didn't have any problems.
Just checked my AmEx... they occurred the same day, but I know they were several hours apart. My AmEx, buzzes my phone as soon as there's a charge. At that point Citizen's also sent me an email.
Ok, well I'm glad it worked for you! Been hearing conflicting stories of it working that way or not. Thanks!

Picked it up from my local UPS Store as soon as I got the ready for Pickup e-mail, I got a little scared because at first the clerk said they didn't have it in their usual pickup area but it was right behind her, she then looked in the system and saw it was a Redirect as it was the top one on the pile and she checked it in her system and had me sign. Setting it up now as we speak, been having some issues though with logging in to iCloud but I'll figure it out. I'm also gonna leave the house around 2:00pm to see if I can snag an Apple Watch Series 2 at a local Apple Store so hopefully I'm done setting up by then.

Another year I had the exact same situation (backup's iOS version newer than the newly delivered phone's iOS version), and iTunes actually refused to restore the phone from the backup until I updated the phone. I'm not sure what is different this year, but iTunes dove right into the restore before I even noticed that the phone was on 10.0. And then it asked me if I wanted to upgrade the iOS WHILE my phone was still syncing Apps/Music. I told it to wait until that was done, and then I started the update manually.
Ok thanks, I am just waiting on the Charge from citizen then. I just set my card up to alert me when a charge come thru.
You might be pressing to hard: just rest your finger on the app and see if that works. I'm getting the "x" on the various apps.
Don't press - just touch your finger lightly on the icon and hold it there. Pressing hard is now sensed differently by the phone and is used for other functions within the app.

Anyone seen some changes with the delivery date 10/03/16-10/07/16? I have ordered a matt black 7 Plus 128 gb (Carrier free as I live in Switzerland).
I have ordered the same model in France and was quoted a 3-7 oct. delivery. The deliverery estimate hasn't moved.
Does anyone know what the typical dimensions are for the external packaging these are being shipped with? I'm due for delivery by end of day, but I need to go to a thing at 6:15 and it's not here yet. I would pre-sign and direct them to leave it inside my door grate, but if it doesn't fit then I don't want to risk it being stuck outside...
I guess I'll just wait and see if my phone departs Louisville heading to Ontario in 26 mins. That's the last one coming this way today. Back to flight tracking again. I thought I was done with that last night lol
Question people on my iPhone 7 when I toggle the wifi off and on the wifi or toggle some setting on and off it vibrates is that expected and the Home button feels different when I click it it feels like I'm clicking something does not feel like my 6s plus hole button
the box dimensions that it came in are: 10 x 6-1/2 x 3-1/4 inches. Hope this helps
Mine just says unavailable. I think they may be leaving on a flight coming from Louisville to Ontario in about 24 mins. We shall see. Either way I expect to pick up it tomorrow. I don't think any of us who are still waiting with get a 9/16 delivery like they promised us.
For those that were stuck in Japan then KY, just curious what iPhone were you getting? I'm in that batch and am getting an iPhone 7+ silver 128. My friend who's whole family is all getting new phones isn't having this issue but she isn't getting any silver phones. Just wondering if it was only silver that got caught in the weather delay
UPS just came! .....aaaaand it was my case. Sigh. Still some hope my phone will show up later, I suppose, but it's already almost 4 pm here. Ugh.
I ordered a Silver 256 GB iPhone 7 Plus AT&T. Mines been sitting in Louisville and hasnt appeared to move.
