Im one of the 801 batch. Is there a possibility it will ship to the US tmro?
I heard there will be 3 flights leaving Korea.

Well looks like UPS has 3 flights scheduled for tomorrow morning to fly out of Korea to Anchorage. So hopefully they will get a lot of phones to the US tomorrow!

Same for me in PA. They probably won't have any on stock for at least a month or two yet.
Hope they are shipping to the USA Tmro, cant wait. Im part of the 801Korea shipment.

It's actually 14 days from the shipped date. If you read the email that Apple sent you when your iPhone shipped. For those of us with a ship date of the 19th you have to return your existing next by October 2nd.

Open the shipping instructions PDF that is attached to the email from Apple

Wow thanks for the headsup, I didnt even check the PDF.

UPS thanks me for my contentious patience with them. *snort*

For everyone who thinks Apple is not delivering in the right order:
Think about it like this: Apple produces the phone in different colors and sizes. They probably produce them someone equally spread across the variations. As Jet Black is sold out everywhere people that ordered a JB will probably have to wait longer than a rose/gold etc., simply because there is less demand for those phones.

So even if you ordered after someone else, in a variation that is less frequently asked for, you may still get your phone sooner than the other person based on how the current stock situation for apple is.

You'd think and hope they adjust to demand, but that's probably a matter of weeks rather than a matter of days.

I'm all for being reasonable and not losing it, but when people who ordered the exact same phone as you reserved theirs hours, sometimes days after you, and they already have their phones while you're stuck waiting with not so much as an expected date is frustrating. I'm not in the US, so I don't get to blame UPS, so that leaves me with Apple, who seemingly orchestrated a short supply.

There are people who ordered the same phone as me, iPhone 7+ 128GB JB for A&T, after me and from apple.com just as I have, that got shipments before me... as discussed on this forum. There are other people who ordered before me, same phone, same carrier, same website, who haven't even had their phones ship yet. There's no rhyme or reason for all this.

I'm also part of the 8:01 crew. I got the message that severe weather was to blame, but looking at the flights into incheon, I think the real answer to the delay is a lot more mundane. It looks like that last flight by UPS out of incheon to anchorage (which I think is the normal route into the us from Asia for ups), left about 3 hours after the phone was marked as arriving in incheon. Maybe it just missed the connecting flight. And the next flight out isn't until about 9 hours from now. Oddly there is a couple day gap in the flights out to the US.

So the phones in the 801 shipment will leave Korea at 6AM EST tmro?

Can you ask if they will be doing Saturday deliveries? Two UPS reps told me they would if Saturday delivery is available in your area but two other people posted saying ups would not be doing Saturday deliveries.

The reps I spoke to said they would if a shipment was delayed for any reason so IDK.

I ordered ~ 12:00 PM on September 10th. I waited a bit, because I knew I would be out of town on the 16th.

My Matte Black, 7+, 256GB Verizon - original delivery date was Sept 28-30.

Phone shipped on the 18th, and I received it on the 20th.

My wife's Silver, 7+, 256GB Verizon was ordered ~ noon as well.

Original delivery date was Sept 28-30.

Phone shipped on the 20th, and was received today (Sept 22nd).

Very happy with the timeline.

There is still little to no inventory in the DC area - anywhere!

If you join the UPS My Choice that they offer which is free you can reroute a shipment to a UPS Store or Distribution center if they have a pickup area. I am a member and was having mine rerouted to the store near me but may have to change it to the distribution center to pick it up Saturday if it gets here. Currently it will not let me reroute it because it is delayed but I hope once it gets moving I can change it again. The rep I talked to said she could not reroute it since I did it myself. She said I should be able to cancel my first request and submit a new one once it gets to the USA.

Agree, but at the end of the day you will be pleased with your phone and then will line up again next year to do it all over again. BTW got my JB 7+ 128GB for AT&T today and can assure that the photos you've seen don't do it justice.

I've been lurking here the past couple of days trying to see if others were having issues with delivery dates etc. and see what I could learn. I ordered the jet black 7 256 and the original delivery Oct 4-10. This week I got the notification it would come 9/22 (today). After being stuck in Zhengzhou it finally started making its way to Seoul, Anchorage and Louisville with no delivery date. This morning I woke to see it was at JFK on its way to Norwalk CT near where I live and got a delivery date of today. Only at midday i saw that it had been rescanned in Louisville, departed Louisville and was now in Hartford and of course delivery was now tomorrow.

Location Date Local Time Activity
Windsor Locks, CT, United States 09/22/2016 6:05 P.M. Arrival Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/22/2016 4:07 P.M. Departure Scan
09/22/2016 11:06 A.M. Import Scan
Norwalk, CT, United States 09/22/2016 7:45 A.M. Arrival Scan
Jamaica, NY, United States 09/22/2016 6:30 A.M. Departure Scan
09/22/2016 5:57 A.M. Arrival Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/22/2016 4:09 A.M. Departure Scan
09/22/2016 3:28 A.M. Import Scan
09/22/2016 2:08 A.M. Arrival Scan
Anchorage, AK, United States 09/21/2016 4:30 P.M. Departure Scan

I contacted UPS and all they told me was it was in Hartford would got to Norwalk and would be delivered tomorrow. I asked how they could be sure when supposedly it was in Norwalk this morning. Basically got "please give us time" as answer. The bottom line for me from this and all the "mechanical delays" and "inclement weather" is that UPS has no idea where any of our phones are until they get dropped at our doors. I realize I'm playing with house time but it's frustrating. Good luck to everyone!

You're welcome. Hopefully our phones will be on one of those flights!

I am part of the 8:01 blackhole and just received a departure scan from Incheon, KR at 11am local time!
Hopefully not a farce!
