Enough with this nonsense. Does anyone know how to cancel an iPhone 7 order in transit? My iPhone is on the same schedule as this one and I have reserved an similar phone at an Apple Store close to me to pick up today.

And my order status is now Clearance completed whereas before it was saying exception.

Never seen a clearance completed status before. Did it really need clearance after a mechanical issue? Was it in customs all along for five days? Lol who knows at this point.

I didn't get one yet. I'm not seeing the clearance status that some people are getting. I wonder if that means anything.

Same here, except 128GB variant. I don't expect to see activity until the end of next week at the earliest. Still sounds like they are working through Day 1 orders.
 
just got a text an hour go that says EXCEPTION. So did they have *another* mechanical failure or is that just there because there still is no estimated delivery date?

Do you think us clearance releasers are on the UPS49 flight?

Updated with a another mechanical failure but now it says clearance completed which means it's in the states I believe. Last update was on Korea though so who knows.
 
I've also received the "clearance received by the clearing agency" message. WTH does that even mean? How do you get clearance from a mechanical failure? Oooh, when said mechanical failure is an excuse. Got it.

Just talkes to UPS. Apparently the Hong Kong update is incorrect and the phones should be arriving on US soil next. Don't understand how errors like that can be happening in their system.

That doesn't make sense because the flight left after that message so how could that mean it's in the states?
Why does no one have a departure? Are they doing that mid flight?
 
Like most of you on this thread, my phone has been touring Asia. LOL. I'm so close to just purchasing a rose gold model that is currently available at my local Apple store.

Yep, my phone is a victim of staying in china for 2 days, and then Korea.

I just called UPS all it means is that the packages are cleared to leave the country. They said they are still working on the mechanical problem as of 8:03AM EST (9/23)

7+ 128 GB MB AT&T. Ordered 9/9 at 6:30 AM CDT. No movement. Still processing. No charge at bank. Delivery date 10/4-10/10. At this point, I genuinely believe this date will be right, and there are lots of people on this board and Reddit saying the same status and delivery date. It might be longer for you than end of next week. I'm stuck because I don't have an Apple Store nearby. If you do, use istocknow.com and try to reserve and pick one up. Fastest way at this point according to the boards.

Hope it arrives on or before the delivery date promised. My cc is yet to be charged.
