Just hit Alaska! No delivery date yet.
Yep I'm same boat as you! Finally at least it's in the states.

Ton of flights leaving AK to KY in the next few hours. I really hope they suck it up and do Sat deliveries but I'm not holding my breath.

Finally in the USA. Apple rep confirmed on chat that it will be out for delivery on Monday 26.

Hey 8:01ers, does anyone know the estimated landing time in anc today?
I called both ups and Apple and they aren't willing to do anything to get our phones to us tomorrow. Very disappointed.

I'm hoping it's on flight 63. Say's the plane will land at about 12:38 AKDT / 4:38 EST. Then on to Louisville and will get there about midnight or so from the looks of it.

From the fiasco that happened in South Korea, they should be working on shipping out these orders asap, especially Saturday.

What is the point of pre-ordering if my order wasn't even processed yet? BS

Add in, "... and people who didn't pre-order can just walk into the store and buy the exact same model," and you have an even more compelling question. Really, what is the point? That's exactly why I reserved the exact unit I ordered for in store pickup. If the Apple store gives me a hard time about switching it to AT&T Next, I'm going to... probably just wait for my pre-order. I just have a time sensitive offer for my current 6, and stand to lose about $50 if I can't get one sooner than 10/7.

To the 801s, apple's initial eta for delivery was Oct 4-10

So even though it's delayed and might be delivered next week, it's still earlier than Oct 4-10, so you can't really complain to Apple.

If yours left Hong Kong at 7:12pm like mine did then apparently it should arrive in Louisville KY at 7:29pm tonight. (curtesy of flyingpostman)

Not true! When you get your shipping notification email from "Apple", it has the estimated delivery date. In our case it wasn't Oct 4th - Oct 10th.

I do not know how long it takes for them to unload/load, etc... if mine departed at 2:25 AM from Incheon, the flight to alaska is about 8 hours. So about 6 hours from now putting it in Anchorage near 6-7pm Pacific time.

Yeah when my estimated Oct 4th - 10th shipped early it told me delivery on the 26th. Since then its been bumped up but then hit with delays.
