iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Ordered 128gb 7+ Black with a delivery of Spetember 16. Checking my order status now, and I realized that my billing address is my old address not the one on my credit card. Will Apple be able to change this without me losing my spot? I do see a pending charge on my account for the taxes.
Last time I had a date after launch day (the week after) it sadly didn't change much except for a few days (it came on the first day of the week stated in the order confirmation). So yeah, it may move up a bit but it may not suddenly arrive on launch day - at least from my experience.
Fingers crossed it will this year, though (estimated delivery: 27-29 Sep)!
So my bill says I will be charged two amounts. Tax, and 1 monthly payment. My credit card has two pending transactions: the correct tax, and what adds up to 3 monthly payments.
Is this a mistake? Or are they just checking that I have enough to cover 3 months on my cc and when it posts it will only be one month?

I ordered my 256GB Jet Black iPhone 7+ at 2:04am CST and received my email at 2:08a, Ships: 1-2weeks / Delivers Sep 26th - Oct 3rd by standard shipping. Praying that my date moves up as this is the first time I've not gotten my phone on launch day...
Order mine at 3:01 am in Canada. No issues at all. I practiced ordering ahead of time to go through the process quickly. Will be receiving my order on the 16th
That's not a bad date for a Jet Black Plus man. Most of us who wanted us Jet Black Plus are stuck with early October
This isn't the 1st time preorder f***ed up. They never seem to learn how to do it right after all these years. Their screw ups that keep you out of the 1st 10 minutes turn into several weeks delay.
Once I got past an hour, I wasn't going to give up, lol. I was just sitting there on the computer anyway so just left it on speaker phone.
It may, if it doesn't come for Friday it'll be shipped over night instead of standard and will be here by the latest of the 22 instead of the 29th... Or so the person on the phone said.
Again, I went all in because I kept thinking if i hang up now they'll probably pick up in a minute and I was doing nothing that would stop me from listening to the same songs on replay on speaker phone anyway.
Ordered the 7S+ 128GB Black. Got in at 12:03 with the Apple Store app and couldn't check out until 12:08 because I had to enter an updated billing and shipping address (forgot to update earlier). Received a Sept. 16 arrival date. Currently processing.
Was able to sell my iPhone 6S Plus to someone who is going to use it for the T-Mobile trade-in deal. ^__^

If it does not go through, apple will send you an email and a 24 hour period to correct the issue without losing your place/shipping date.
I was sort of surprised at how quickly they ran out of phones for release day delivery/pick-up. Last time I did this with the iPhone 6 I was able to get a plain iPhone 6 for in-store pickup like 2-3 days after the pre-orders went live.
I kept refreshing Apple/UAE website for about 15 minutes from the official preorder time which is 11am, got a lame "Processing" 4-10 October delivery for a Black Plus 164GB.

Yes, they usually auth more than the initial amount just to make sure.
I called apple this morning and they changed my billing address. My delivery date of 9/16 did not change. I spent almost two hours on hold so get ready to for a long wait.
Just got my Apple Pay notification as well. Checked my credit card and the charge appears as pending. Order now shows as "Preparing for Shipment."
7 Plus/Black/256 GB/T-Mobile. Ordered through Apple Store app. Received confirmation e-mail at 12:08am PDT. Delivers 9/16.

Interesting because I still have one preparing for shipment that I ordered with AT&T on the same line (Oct 13-Oct20) and I was worried Apple would cancel my order.

If you just now ordered a JB and got a a 9/16 ship date that's crazy!
Ah... But was it a plus model? That's probably what's going on. Either way I hope my 10/4-10/10 moves quicker! What do you guys think?
Yes - cases may already be in the US and your phone may be coming from China.
