Are these orders coming directly from China

That I'm not sure of yet. In years past I've had them come directly from China and also a couple times have had them shipped initially from a shipping hub location inside the US.

I see people referencing the beginning of the order number. What does it mean? Obviously a smaller number doesn't mean an earlier order because my order at 12:11am is W56 and my order at 12:17am is W54.

How accurate are the Verizon deliver by dates? When I ordered (well after 12 pst) there was a 2-3 week ship date on apple but a 9/23 deliver date for Verizon.

anytime you change something it causes delays and mixups.

It's not like they can call the factory and have your phone shipped special. This entire process is based on when you ordered.

Oh no, I used a credit card with $113 remaining, to cover the $90 tax charge, and the $79 interest fee hits 9/12. Cmon and charge my card soon!!! Should have used debit.

Yes signature required but I am pretty sure you can fix and pre-sign if you want to chance it

You can print a release from the apple order details when the phone ships , so the FEDEX driver to leave the package
