Interesting, I ordered a 128 GB Plus Matte Black also, with ship date October 4 - 10. This certainly gives a bit of hope that it may be shipped much earlier.

Estimated ship dates tend to be quite conservative, since people would get angry if they said that it would arrive any earlier and it turned out that that wasn't the case.

Just got off the phone, time elapsed to agent pickup, 2 hours 52 minutes....

Lady: Hi, how may I assist you?
Me: Oh, yes, my name is "Macshroomer" but I am calling on behalf my cat who fell asleep along with my legs about two hours ago, it's her order.
Lady: Silent-ish laugh-breathing noise.
My cat ( who is asleep on my lap ): Hybrid Yawn-meow noise.
Lady: Was that your cat? followed by LOL.
Me: Chuckle, Yes, I think we woke her up.

Questions regarding CC validation and status are asked, will show change tonight. Cat gets me upgraded shipping, date now says 9/20-9/22.

My 7 Plus black 128 ATT order starts with W46, est Sep 27-29 is still status "Processing Items."

My wife's 7 rose gold 128 ATT order starts with W42, est Sep 16 is status "Preparing for Shipment."

Interestingly enough, I placed the order for her phone after I placed mine, yet her order is W42 and mine is W46.

My 7 Plus 128 GB Black ATT phone is still processing--ordered around 7 am CST. Order number starts with W42. Delivery listed as Oct. 4-Oct 10. Hope it changes to preparing for shipment soon...

For those of you who ordered through AT&T and have the "Preparing for shipment" status, does it say "Order is in progress" for you when you log onto myAT&T and look at the "Overview" tab? I was just curious if that affects anything.

Yes, it is from AT&T. However, this is a first for me where I have seen it say "Preparing for shipment." In the past, it has always said "Processing" or "In progress."

EDIT: While it says "Preparing for shipment" on AT&T's website when I went to check my order status, I decided to call their automated line and it said that my order was "Processing." I'm a little less happy about that, but I am trying to stay optimistic here! Haha...

Ordered at 12:01 and got w52 then ordered another one at 12:10 got w41. Later order preparing shipment and earlier still processing.

Some of you would have not survived if we had to wait two weeks between pre-order and delivery day like the last few years...

Waiting on hold to see if maybe they will expedite mine too. Am I wasting my time? Lol my ship date is sept 27-29 but when I tried online this morning it gave me option to expedite to the 23rd but wouldn't work
