I don't blame you, the same situation happened to me with the 6 where I got 3 weeks out and others ordering after me got it within a week of launch.
I don't think Apple cares about all the ill will generated by this crap they pull, since they're getting their money, which is all they care about.
I think I was one of the lucky ones when the 6 came, so long ago now don't remember seemed like it was within a week or two even with ordering later on in the morning around 6am or so.
Ordered through the apple store app at 3:04am est.
7 plus 256gb black ATT full price. Still processing .. says delivered 9/26 - 9/27
Wow thats crazy, I have the exact same model placed at the same time and I'm getting it release day...
By the way iPhone 7+ 128GB Jet Black AT&T and a W57 order number (which I'm certain at this point means nothing at all).
I'd be curious to know... does anyone know of how iPhones are allotted? Does Apple say "We're making this many 7+ 128GB Jet Black AT&T" or does AT&T place an order based on what they think the upgrade demand will be? And does AT&T pay up front? That might have an impact on delivery times if the carrier decides not to go whole hog and order bajillions of phones for launch. Food for thought...
Honestly man, I wouldn't be surprised if you actually don't receive it until November. Based on everybody's responses and my own experience, the 7+ Jet Black sold out pretty much instantaneously and was already in short demand to begin with. I've got October 18th as my date, and that sounds likely right about now.
I can see that too. The manufacture of it is probably slow and laborious but you would think that over the course of the day that date would slip to December. It's all up in the fates now but the speculation is the fun part. It's like an unsolvable problem that you can't let go of.
Got my order in about 12:05-12:06 PST 7 Plus Jet Black 256GB when I started the order it said Sep 26-Oct 3 when it was finished it said Oct 4-Oct 10 lol I was like well theres another week off, so I ordered the 7 Jet Black 256GB as well and its being delivered release day, If I like it I will just cancel my plus order and not have to wait. 7 Says preparing for shipment 7 plus is still processing.

.I'm on a 6 right now, and not getting the 6 Plus was a huge regret.
I ordered the silver plus 256gb with shipment date of September 27-29. Since it's not the limited supply jet black one everyone wants, any chance I'll get it sooner? Anyone else with the same configuration get a date that was changed to an earlier ship time? Got my confirmation email at 2:36cst.
Similar situation as you but one week delay.
I really regret not thinking about ordering a 256, by the time I thought about it, well into 12:35+++ I figured I could only do equal or worse than my original order confirmation which was 12:21 and I got 10/18-10/31.

I did not get an order in until 3:26 AM for the 6 and got it on launch day. I actually ordered two then and both were launch day. This iPhone feels like it sold the fastest. I have not missed getting one on launch day until this one. I got a 4, 5 and 6.

I Currently have a Verizon Max 8 GB /w Hotspot Data plan on my current plan.
When I go to Apple.com and try to do a 2 year upgrade and go to the data selection my plan is not listed. Although on Verizonwireless.com it will let me choose my existing plan. Does anyone know how to work this out through apple? I even spoke in store and that the selections are the same if I were to upgrade in store.

iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Silver. Placed my order Friday morning at 4:30 EST from the Apple Store. Estimated time of arrival Oct. 4 - Oct 11th. 2-3 weeks. One thing I REALLY hope Apple fixed is the earpiece volume.

I have a 32GB Black Verizon model with email confirmation of 9/16 delivery. I ordered through the Apple Store app with Apple Pay. I can see the transaction in Apple Pay but my card has not been charged, order is still processing but with 9/16 delivery date. Should I be concerned that it is not prepared for shipment by now?

Shouldn't be. I don't believe they charge your card until the product ships. Mine has not been charged yet either.
Went to Preparing for Shipment sometime today, not sure of the exact time. I checked it an hour ago and saw it updated. It hasn't fully hit my credit card as a charge, but it is pending. What's strange is the amounts (they've only attempted to charge $1,065.37, when my receipt says $1,117.67) and the fact there are two charges instead of one.
I also do not have a serial number assigned to me in Support Profile.
