For all those asking if previous deliveries with post-launch dates ever arrived earlier - I just checked my emails back from September 2014 when I got the iPhone 6 Plus from Apple.com. I received the confirmation email on Sep. 12th, 22 minutes after the preorders started with a delivery date of October 1st - 6th. I received my shipping notification email on Sep. 19th with a delivery date of Sep. 24th - a week earlier than the initial estimate.

Here's hoping this happens again with my jet black 7+ order and the Oct. 4th date it currently has.

Has anyone's date changed from 16th in the initial email to 21/9?

I ordered via the App Store App, even though I had the item checked out at 7:02 PM NZST I didn't complete the order till 7:05 PM NZST because it wanted my shipping address even though it already had it..
 
Hey guys quick question, if I used touch ID to pay and I wiped the phone it was on (to sell it before next week), do I need to call in and change my billing information (on Apple.com it says device ID next to my billing information) ??

I need to know this too. As sold the phone yesterday afternoon after the pre-order.

My 128GB iPhone 7 plus black went to preparing for shipment, was billed 2-3 hours ago and now i can see the serials
in the apple support profile !!! also the watch is the same thing ;)

Nothing showing up in the apple support page for me i have 9/16 delivery date and payment has been made earlier today, i also have preparing to ship.

Nothing showing up in my support profile yet for the phone or the watch I ordered as well.

I really regret not thinking about ordering a 256, by the time I thought about it, well into 12:35+++ I figured I could only do equal or worse than my original order confirmation which was 12:21 and I got 10/18-10/31.

Yea I went for the 256gb since att was only about $4 more a month I figured why not it should be worth more when I sell it next year

Order number starts with W59 by the way.
Still "processing" but dates changed slightly to 27-29 Sep...

Yes, mine has done the same.
Initially 16, now 21.
 
OK so yesterday I had my shipping changed to 2 to 3 day shipping instead of regular shipping. However I saw everyone else was having theirs changed to overnight. So I called them back and asked them to change mine to overnight. Now instead of getting it on September 27 through the 29th. I'll be getting it September 20 through the 22nd.

Tedious, I've seen a few other people in similar situations but there's have changed back to 16th.. mine is still 21st :/

I might ring them up on Monday to query why, the joys of NZ/Aus customer support don't work Sat/Sun..

Yeah I called them at 11 PM last night. Took me about 32 minutes on the phone. However when I called them during the day to get the 2 to 3 day shipping it took me to a 2 times. Each attempt taking around 2 hours 40 mins. Also when giving me the 2-3 day she said that was the fastest possible. That's after she told me that it wasn't even possible to change the shipping option

Jeez, I don't think I'll do that if it took that amount of time...

To be honest, my iPhone is set to come on the 27th and apparently last year people found that their iPhones came a week before Apple said because, like Amazon, Apple put a delivery date that they know that they can achieve no question and then deliver beforehand (I hope anyway!)
