Location more likely. I didn't hammer the refresh button, just once every 30 seconds or so starting at 2:00.

At first I was a little annoyed that I wasn't getting it on the 16th but I got over that pretty quick. I work for one of the carriers so I'll be pretty busy selling them all day. I wouldn't have much time to use it anyhow. I went for black in stead of jet. Too afraid of scratches. Plus I think the matte black looks sharper.

has anyone figured out who has the latest order time who's order has gone to preparing for shipment? I think I saw a few 1am PSTs but nothing later

I'm on hold to upgrade to expedited shipping for my 27-29th phone, in case it doesn't get bumped.

Are they generally doing this? If so, I don't mind waiting.

When your doing it, tell them you had a friend who had it done. I wouldn't tell them that your seeing other people on the forum. It seemed to work better for me. Plus they might say you can't believe everything you read online. And don't let them tell you it's not an option. I had to tell the lady helping me to ask someone else for help. Good luck!

I don't think it even is in a chronological order, I ordered 12 minutes after the preorder officially started and I am still in the "Processing items" stage.

I ordered 23 minutes into the hour and got Preparing to ship by 9am the next morning. Its crazy how this works.

The ordering process was trying; I encountered various difficulties... After failing to place my order through the Apple Store app, I finally succeeded on my PC through the Apple website. I ordered a Black 256GB 7 Plus on AT&T. It has a delivery date range of Sep 28 - Sep 30. Hours later, I got an email with a reservation number from one of those failed attempts. I tried placing another order with the reservation but got a later delivery date range: Sep 29 - Oct 3. Needless to say, I will try getting the iPhone I want at a store on September 16th. I wish all of you luck in getting your new iPhones as soon as possible.

Same here. I kept getting error messages and when I was able to finally finish, the date changed to Sept. 27-29 even though when I started the process it said Sept. 16.

It seems the Black iPhone 7 Plus 256GB configuration was the most sought after aside from Jet Black knowing there would be limited quantities...

Did anyone get a Day 1 delivery confirmation for a 256 Plus in black here? I'm sure someone did, but from browsing some of the pages it seems everyone has dates near the tail end of the month.

I tried, but ended up having to go with the 128GB. Was finally able to get in about 3:07am of constant refreshes of the Apple Store app. Maybe it was that hold up or all of the AT&T extra clicking I had to do.

Surprisingly, I feel if I didn't pay off my device before preorders, I would have possibly been able to checkout a little faster. Haha

First time doing it but when you log into the Apple Store app, it'll show you the progress of the order. For store orders, its Processing, Ready for Pick up, and Picked up. So we likely won't see movement until the morning of your pickup day I suppose.

After calling Apple and waiting on hold 2hrs52min with 15 rounds of rap song "It's 11:59 and 59 seconds" (managed to have dinner with family, wash dishes, check mail, take out the trash, take a dump, shower with Bluetooth speaker on hold), I got expedited shipping instead of standard. My preorder delivery window changed to Sept 17-24th. Launch Day delivery looking more possible!
