How many minutes after preorders opened did you get yours in? Some people seem to have gotten an unfair advantage.
Not really an unfair advantage. Just some colors and storage options sold faster than others. They also had less stock of some variations *cough*Jet Black*cough*
That's not really what I was referring to, but rather that many like me couldn't even connect to the store until 10 minutes had already passed. Those who got in right away had an unfair advantage since we were all trying our best to connect.in this day and age there's no excuse for Apple not to have had the capacity to meet the load.
Just cancelled my 7 Jet Black to get the 128GB 7 Black quicker.

The order numbers do not matter because I had two orders and the first was W57 and the second was W53.
I know the order numbers are unrelated to ship date but I'm sure the actual time your order went in does. The order numbers probably don't correlate to the time of the order.
It depends on how you purchased it. Contract phones are locked except Verizon. Apple's upgrade program all phones are unlocked as is cash payment.
I ordered this morning around 9:30 or so CDT, couldn't get in last night after trying for 40 mins.
The Apple store did not load for me until around 3:10. Then when ordering it attached to the wrong number. My orders went in at 3:25 and 3:28. The 256GB 7+ Jet Black says 10-18 to 10-31 which better come the week prior because I have a vacation and the 128GB 7+ Rose Gold says 9-27 to 9-29. Both were AT&T.
And you got a sept 16 delivery date anyway? Now I know I stayed up for nothing. That makes me mad.

I ordered at 3 pm Denver time today on the store app, Apple upgrade program w42 order number black 7 plus 256gb Verizon got a delivery time of 9/23 to 9/25. See if this changes over the next week.
Seems as though they are pushing most of those black ones out fast. My rose gold 256GB 7+ is still "processing". No charges yet. 9/16 delivery date. Those of us who are still in processing but have a 9/16 delivery date probably already have phones that are stateside. I'm predicting they will ship Sunday or Monday. Maybe even later.
Damn. I stayed up till 3 and ordered same phone but AT&T and got a later delivery than you did!
Yeah, so I cancelled and am going to try my luck with t-mobile this time around.
I'm not sure i trust it, order still says processing, but we shall see. It was saying Nov for Jet black.

My sister went through the att store and as soon as she was able to connect to the site at around 3:15 east , all phone shipments were 2-3 weeks later.
