Oh I know I stayed up and ATTs site was so bad it couldnt verify the card and upgrade info until 4:29am, so i got the 23rd to 30th range.

It's just a phone, sure Im not happy about the glitch, but it will come soon and probably earlier at that. And yet Im still saying people need to relax and Im not a "biased 16th person" either. I knew the date range when I hit the purchase button.

The only people with a true gripe are the ones who had dates slip from what was promised when buying (a limited few it is sounding like), and not even yet until they still have no tracking say come Thursday afternoon.

I heard a lot of people had problems with the actually Apple site as well. My husband got it at 3:07 or 3:08, something like that. I would be upset if my date slipped, feels like I ways have to wait forever! But yeah, it's just a phone. :)

It's just tiring hearing the same unreasonable complaints over and over.

No one had a gun to their head to hit order if they didnt like the delivery dates, they weren't hidden from anyone; although not ordering one doesnt solve the wait issue either. Or can go wait in line and try to get one Friday or local carrier store. There is no option C here.

There is nothing that can be done, flat out. They cannot get all 5 to 10 million preorders they do over from China and all ready for launch day delivery. The logistics just dont work out. Some people get them the 16th, some the week after, some the week after. MOST estimated dates end up moving up too.

People live in their little forum world and dont realize that for every 1 person posting they got a 16th date there is 5,000 others in the public who got the same. This is a HUGE volume operation here.

Anyone got order status updates on their phones today?

It's Saturday, so I'm guessing we won't get updates until Monday.

Was wondering the same thing. My order still says "processing items" and there hasn't yet been a charge on my debit card. Delivery estimate is Sep 16th.

Same here. I wish the process was smoother. Should work like concert tickets. Whoever adds to basket first saves place in line for 5 minutes while filling out info. I selected local pickup, entered billing info no longer available, selected another store and time in SF entered carrier info no longer available so had to have it shipped. Still showing 16 but still processing

Netherlands here.
Order placed yesterday using the app as soon as it worked: 09.05 in the morning. 2x iPhone 7+ 256GB, (mat) black.

Estimated delivery: 26-28 September
Ready to ship: 6-8 working days
Current status: processing (I think "open" in the US store?)

Weird thing: also ordered a Stone Grey Cover (same order number)
Estimated delivery: 13-15 September
Ready to ship: 1-3 working days
Current Status: processing (I think "open" in the US store?)

Isn't it weird that the cover didn't change to shipped yet?

I'm in the Sep 26 - Oct 3 group. I'm hoping I will get my phone on the 16th but I'll be ok if I don't. I went through this last year with the Rose Gold Plus. I ordered through ATT and immediately got an October ship date. When I didn't get a shipping update the Thursday before launch, I decided to try to pick one up at an Apple Store. It was incredibly chaotic and an experience I don't want to relive. So if my phone comes on the 16th I'll be very happy. But if it doesn't I'll just try to wait patiently and be happy that one will come eventually.

Heated, no. but how many whines can one sit here and read over and over as if there was a gun to your head to hit the order button full well knowing the delivery date of your phone?

You want REAL unfair? Join the military/CIA/government and take a trip oversees to a few countries tourists dont go. You will know how unfair life truly is, not these petty 1st world problems like waiting an extra few days for a cell phone.

This is just petty BS to be bent out of shape over.

My order went from "preparing for shipment" BACK to "processing items". CC has been charged. Anyone else have this?

When I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Black, it said that the delivery date would be between Sept. 27-29. Now it jumped to Sept. 20-22 for whatever reason - Yay

Partially. I'd bet all of the 16th phones are already here. That's the ones they could guarantee to deliver the 16th as already being in the US.

Anyone who got something after are coming from China and those are the dates that could slide up as phones get sent over from China and hit Alaska to come to Louisville. More than likely fro past years the week after phones will slide up and some will get delivered launch day, some that Monday the 19th.
Every launch day phone I've ordered from Apple has come from China. The only time I ever got one that was already in the U.S. was the year I ordered it from AT&T, not from Apple.

Order number has nothing to do with it. After constantly refreshing my screen, I was able to place my order at 3:05AM EDT, order number W41 for a 256 Jet Black + and I got the Sept 26 - Oct 3 ship date. Still in "processing" status... As stulaw11 said, there are far worse problems out there. Will be happy when it arrives regardless and just glad to not be in the November group now! Cheers!

Here is an idea... maybe you should stop reading the thread if it annoys you so much.

I just sit back and enjoy my 9/16 delivery date.

Haha.

I think all of us with 7+ Jet Black 256 and 128GB got a date after launch. But yes, our date of September 26-October 3 is better than November!

As per Apple employee in Edison NJ sept 26 date is just them being careful due to production issues with the finish. It'll probably ship this week and if you got your order in from 3AM-310AM you'll have it launch day. Crossing fingers.
