Btw when I told the guy that CS saying the phone should arrive on Friday and this not being the case (after being told I'll have to wait 28 more days) is false advertising as I would have gone elsewhere if I had known he said he doesn't agree and they only go on what they think they'll have stock wise. Wtf
Unless a customer is being a c**t, you shouldn't ever disagree with them if you're in CS. Sorry, but that is poor.
edit: Also, it's hilarious that they "go on what they think they'll have stock wise." ... LOL
This is crazy, I shall be ringing tonight and if not dispatched they can replay the recorded phone call of my being promised delivery and go from there
Did my upgrade over the phone last Friday around 0805 got a text from EE this morning telling me my phone would be delivered tomorrow 128GB Black Matte still haven't got a text from DPD yet but just got a call from my local store as I enquired last week they have offered me a black 7 at 9am to pick up if I want it.....I asked the guy about jet black on the off chance he stated they have ZERO stock of jet black and are being told NOVEMBER.

It'd be interesting to see if it does come in 2-3 days though!
Is the black 7 they're offering you in store the 128gb one you ordered, or different?

so had a chat with the online chat, as the guy this morning wasnt helpful.
"I've checked your account and the upgrade has been successfully accepted. You will receive the confirmation email tomorrow from DPD about the delivery status as the new Iphon7 will launch tomorrow 16/09/2016. Thank you."

agent: Most probably by tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
this was a 7+ 128gb black ordered around midday... yet i havent seen a notification, and they checked my address,
saved the chat for tomorrows argument......lol

Maybe EE will update their app to be decent on the Plus now that there's such a shortage of them due to demand.
I was told effectively the same over the phone. If I don't get a text I'm complaining.
Apparently if someone is available they'll instigate a chat with you. I've never seen it pop up.

Guilty! I've just been told "generally 48-72 hours" for dispatch - I wouldn't recommend online chat...they don't really have much of a clue and I don't think I can be bothered to ring up.
Speaking of my list, it's the most depressing thing to read. There's a positive comment every 1 in ~20 posts (and when I say positive, I mean optimistic). It's not going to be a good day for EE CS (in-store and on the phone) tomorrow.
