I'm thinking of changing my 128GB to 256GB which according to EE will get here within 21 days rather than 28 or 35.. depends when you start counting....
 
Pretty much decided to cancel my upgrade order for the Jet Black + and keeping the Gold + I got at the Apple Store in Edinburgh yesterday.
So think I will call EE and try to get a decent sim only upgrade deal. Anyone gone this route and got a good deal?
I definitely need to upgrade from my meagre 3GB data allowance!!
 
I just called for an update - don't expect it to have changed but with seeing all these updates to say they have had DPD texts I thought I'd ask - anyway the nice lady did say to me that they are expecting deliveries from Apple every 3-5 days, obviously it could just be pie in the sky but she seemed confident in what she said

That would make sense! No way was it going to be a Plus today from EE. Not even the the Apple Store in Princes Street have any Jet Black Plus models for display - only the 7's.
 
A word of warning to all those who paid up front for phone if your billing date is due soon your bill will be taken out the money you paid for the iphone 7 or 7+ i just checked and it minus of the upfront cost check your accounts now this is only if you are still waiting for your phone to be delivered.

This happened to me,
totally screwed up my bill.
My work pays my phone bill as an expense but this months bill says i have a credit of £58,
 
Well just called EE and told them to end my 2nd line/shared data plan for my iPad.
So that will save me a few quid and gives me power for getting a better deal when my phone is here. Or can tell them to stick it and go elsewhere or keep my 6 and get a sim only deal.

Interesting EE on the phone said they can match the shop deal and then knock £10 of the monthly cost

This reminds me of something that happened to me a few years ago when I was with O2. They charged me a couple of hundred quid to upgrade early on an 18 month plan - essentially I had to buy out the remaining line rentals. It was probably so I could upgrade from a 3GS to a 4 but I can't remember exactly. They took payment from me for the amount due and credited my account but never put the charge on my account so I ended up getting something like 6 months line rental free as they kept deducting the line rental from my outstanding credit balance!

I also sold my existing iPhone that year for quite a more than the upfront cost for the new iPhone so was totally quids in!
 
For all those who are threatening to leave EE, don't go to Vodafone. I had been with them for 20 years and EE are brilliant in comparison. This might leave some with a sour taste but the other side is not always any better.
 
That must suck, I'm sorry. Hope it doesn't happen to anybody else. What did they say, are they blaming you for ordering wrong or taking responsibility?
No they took responsibility. Ordered online so have the email but phoned later and the Cs rep had to redo it because something was t right or something. Kept repeating 7+ on recording. Keeping this until new one comes which I have been told I'm a priority to the monumental cockup

That's all well and good but I feel priority should be the people who don't have a phone at all. Tbf they probably just told you that to keep you sweet. Make you feel special. A lot of people who have posted on here mention the CS reps calling them priority and they're still waiting for their phones to arrive. Doesn't seem very priority if you ask me! Pft poor CS! I'm happy to wait for my + but I'd just like a set date, I hate waiting around o_O

Like you all I want is a idea of a date. Even a if its we are getting our next batch on....

I much prefer that the CS BS they give us.

I want honesty not BS

Well I suppose it may be because it's a new business account and I technically will be ordering over 10 devices. But it's not that they said send the phone back but I sold 6+ this morning and paced over my number and technically I did order first day for that phone so I guess technically I still haven't received what I ordered. But saying that I get your point

Well rang them and they topped my account back up to original amount paid my bill for me good will gesture

Thinking about getting it as well. From what I've read a lot more stock of the 7+ will arrive on Tuesday / Wednesday. Hopefully that should get things moving. Might wait and see if anything changes by Thursday, if not the 256gb looks good. £920 tho!
 
I just called again, this time was told that EE are getting stock every day from Apple. His words: they are being told to tell people they will get them within the week and I should have mine by Wednesday or Thursday

Who knows maybe 28 days is just the time frame they are saying but could see movement within a week or so

Will keep my order for now of matte black and wait. My jet black from Apple due to arrive on 4th so could end up deciding which I want before my Hoilday to Barca
 
Just been reading on a forum elsewhere that they just got a email from EE saying their 32gb plus is available to pick up in store. I've not had any updates from the store mines in order with but looks like a few are trickling through
