So...my saga with EE.... rang yesterday after getting no texts or emails. Apparently the order I placed on Friday (online) was still waiting to be processed! Furious! Had to start from scratch with the upgrade and ordered it yesterday, with a 28 day delivery. I'd love to know why the other 5 times I rang chasing confirmation this week, I was told there's no problem, and the order was definately placed.
So annoyed as I was sim only and had a 04-10 Oct delivery window with Apple direct, which I cancelled as EE promised an earlier delivery.
Now, it's likely I'll be on holiday when the phone arrives so I'll have to try and contact DPD from abroad.

I had the exact same experience. I'm at the back of the queue.

sucks doesn't it. My person on the phone said, "that's why we always tell people to ring up to upgrade!" Always? I never heard that...they're obviously not ALWAYS SAYING IT ENOUGH!
I'll be furious if my phone comes when I'm on holiday! Before (preferably!) or after, but PLEASE EE, not during!

That's funny when I rang on Friday to pre order they told me to do it online! I refused and got through to someone.
 
But, you know, every cloud has a Silver lining. Just realised, the person who processed the upgrade forgot to charge me the £99 upfront cost!

Anyone seen that update from the EE CEO? Basically blamed the whole thing on lack of supply from Apple? It's clearly legit but it's still frustrating that they weren't clearer ahead of time about delays. They've clearly had a lot of cancellations and angry letters etc if they've felt the need to get him to do a video about it aha.

Carphone Warehouse delivery dates have slipped back another three weeks at least for most Plus models.

They will add it to your bill the charge up front or charge to your bill when dispatched.
 
Looking at Ee forums someone just spoke to Cs and all plus models are due in over 28 days now not within..... Ffs
 
Post from ee now they're expecting a delivery today and will be shipping them out within 24h. We shall see

It's just updated over there! We apparently are getting new stock today and will sent out within 24 hours! No word on what phones but fingers crossed. May the odds be forever in your favour.

Am loving the size and screen of the 7+ having changed from a 6s. However I have been having problems backing up my 6s so not using properly yet. Sim is still in the 6s.

However am still swaying on whether to keep the Gold+ 256GB or take back to Apple and wait for the JB+ 128GB from EE. Aaaargh! Decisions, decisions......

Am not sure I really need the 256gb though I defo need the 128. Will see how storage capacity looks with i restore from back up and sync my whole music library which I didn't do on the 6s.

In the meantime I picked up this clear gel Spigen case via Amazon that I really like.

Had got a Storm Grey Apple leather case but felt I wanted something to show off the gold back. Of course it would look equally good with a JB iP7+!!

I called EE for an update today and was told although the general statement was 28 days,
She says i will receive mine in 3-5 Days, (7+ Matte Black 256GB)
Not holding my breathe for that though

Also i asked for the £20 they offered me on Friday and i told them to shove it where the sun don't shine,
And i got it LOL
I decided better in my pocket than theirs. HaHa

It was quite clear from day one of preorders on apple.com that he plus wasn't going to be available. Apple gets stock first and foremost, so if they didn't have any, nobody else would. It was the same last year.
