Carrier iPhone 7/7+ EE ( UK ) Pre-Order Thread

Makes sense. I didn't know they used Birmingham though as well, I know that they use East Midlands Airport as a main cargo terminal. Its annoying because I work about 10 mins away from East Mids Airport, and the courier has to drive past me to get to the Stoke depot where I live...

I'm getting mine delivered to an EE shop so hopefully I'll know early one morning when it's going to be ready to collect and I'll pick it up on my drive home.

That's the same route I took. So up for getting a text right now.

i've upgraded my account and pre-ordered an iphone7+ JB on launch day and now thinking of cancelling it as getting bill already even without the iphone! (Just annoys me really) thinking of just upgrading it to a sim plan and wait for my preorder from apple.

When does my 14days change of mind thing starts? Is it the day when i upgraded and preordered the iphone? or when i receive the iphone??? So i know when to cancel it if its still not arriving anytime sooner!
 
:D I'm holding out hope for this delivery speculation people have started to have. Fingers crossed everyone for this week deliveries!
 
EE is so useless... no info, no phones nothing... last contract i did with them, pathetic.
 
yeah I have to say this is the first time I got the phone directly with a carrier and will also be the last. I've always pre-ordered it sim free from the manufacturer or cpw and not had any issues. Lesson learnt

Been told sooo many different things over past few weeks! I have zero hope of receiving a text this week! :(

Yep, EE has totally s***d us over! took money and dont even bother to give us any info! imo its better to cancel the stupid contract and buy 7+ from apple even tho it says 2-3 weeks as it will be way sooner than stupid EE

don't forget with apple, they ship it within 2-3 weeks but it takes an additional week to get here from China so you're looking at 3-4 weeks which is more or less the same as EE
 
I per ordered a matte black 128 plus
From a EE store in Manchester.
Was told on that day they will have stock and even arranged a time for me to come and pick it up.
Had no updates until I wondered into the store on Friday only to be told they had none and I shouldn't have come. And could be a good 28 days before I get it.

Had a phone call from the EE store last night saying it's going to be around 3 weeks before they get any. I'm second on the list for that model
 
Yeah was thinking that but my contract is up and got a good deal from EE not really fussed about the JB wouldn't have got it if I'd known it was gonna be such short supply! However the matte black seems just as rare in the wild!

EE have compensated me £20 and refunded the delivery and promised 14 days delivery (again I took this with a pinch of salt) but when it's not here in 14 days I can least try to get more off them lol had it on chat so it's in black and white so can't say they didn't say it etc.

I have a friend who's cousin who works of EE store (manager) and he is loving it lording it over me that ill apparently be waiting 3 months...he is a Samsung fan

He sounds like a right ****. Who gives a **** what phone manufacturer you like?

You should remind him that he works in a phone shop and that all retail jobs are just slave labour.

I got a DPD text this morning, being delivered tomorrow (Wednesday) iPhone 7 matte black 32gb.

looks like they only received 7s not the 7 plus ;/ Even apple stores don't have them, checked the reservation page this morning.....

TBH reading the message, it read like they were receiving them yesterday, processing them, picking and shipping today. so i think were hear today if were getting one. it seems a huge process to get it in and out in a few hours last night

    If you pre-ordered over the phone or online, you'll receive delivery information by text.

    If you pre-ordered the new iPhone from an EE shop, you’ll receive a call from a store advisor as soon as your handset is ready to collect.

    In the first post of this discusssion please read the section called “What happens when my phone is in stock?” for more information.

  • Tomorrow, EE will send a text to everyone who hasn’t received their pre-ordered iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This text will contain your individual, expected delivery date. We’ll update you again when we have more information.
