Carrier iPhone 7/7+ EE ( UK ) Pre-Order Thread

I've been checking the upgrade program all day and nothing! Someone said there were 5 ip7+ black at the store near where I work (didn't show up for me). Looks like I need to run the special script to get notified. ;/ azure here we come lol
 
Got the text from the CEO was originally 2nd on the list at the EE Hertford store
 
Got the CEO text at 15.46. It seems to promise (on the link) that the text will contain your individual, expected delivery date as already quoted above. I look forward to this and hope I am not disappointed!!

Also having a nightmare backing up my 6s so I can restore all my data to my new 7+. Was 2 hours on the phone to Apple on Monday and have been unable to back up to iTunes which states not enough storage on Macbook or what ever computer I try to use when there clearly is. Tried back up to iCloud at home but my wifi too slow so tried at work today and it runs for about an hour before stopping and stating cannot be completed! Frustrating!!!!!!!! I like to save my camera roll, messages and I have a few apps with recordings in them but looks like I will lose the latter.

How can EE offer an INDIVIDUAL DELIVERY DATE? they dont even know when deliveries are comign and whats in the delivery...anything they say i will take with a very large pinch of salt.

Had a update from the tweeter team.
All per orders phone, web and in store
Will all get a individual ETA of their phones.
They won't be a blanket 28 days.
Store pre orders may get a call from store instead of text

Apparently someone got a delivery. No idea if they received a text message...o_O

I've seen people on the EE forum thread saying they've got delivery tomorrow for the same device many of us preordered (7+,128,MB) yet they didn't order until the Sunday. I don't think EE are working on a first come first served basis...

I preordered on the Friday but then had to call to confirm details which put me back of the supposed queue. :(

Whatever this queue is, EE aren't following it. I ordered minutes after 8 and haven't received my Matte Black 128gb Plus yet someone who placed their order on the Sunday will get theirs tomorrow.
 
It's a joke, no one over on ee community forums has had the DPD text, yet apparently they had a big delivery yesterday!!!

No, a few people are getting their phones tomorrow, I saw some DPD screenshots in the thread. Still, can't have been a massive shipment sent to EE. At least we *should* know more when everyone else (i.e. all of us) get new delivery estimate texts tomorrow.
 
I've given up on EE for the iPhone 7. Decided to try my hand at the iPhone upgrade plan directly from Apple. So called EE and got this deal on a shared plan:

12 months 25GB data, unlimited minutes/texts @ £25/month sim-only with 6 months Apple Music & BT Sport (Lead Phone)
12 months sharer phone sim unlimited minutes/texts @ £12/month sim-only with 6 months Apple Music & BT Sport
30 day rolling sharer data sim @ £7/month sim-only (existing deal)

Total £44/month, will use the money I saved to sign up to the Apple plan and own my 7+ in 20 months interest free.
 
Nothing but disappointment here. Hopefully I'll be able to grab a reservation today.
 
Almost had the reservation. Flipping phone gone Rouge. Everything that could have delayed it happened lol. Guess I have to wait until tomorrow
