Well I've done it! Got a reservation on a 258GB matte black 7+ at my local Apple Store for today. Gunna pick it up and cancel my EE pre order. I hear Vodafone have a £20 for 20GB deal on atm so might get a sim only with them!

Remember no visual voicemail on Vodafone in case that is an issue for you. Not sure why it bothers me as I don't get much voicemail but it does!!
Might be worth phoning up and asking what they have that they can deliver to you sooner and phrase it that way (rather than asking to change your order). You might be lucky!
It's not even a Jet Black.........maybe they charge £10k for that!!!
Went to the new Apple Store in Birmingham today to get myself a leather case for my 7+ once it arrives.

Went to Apple Store, saw the phone I'm waiting for. Felt completely gutted and annoyed that I couldn't just have it haha.

Well I'm having to return my 7 silver due to EE's mess up with not adding my apple watch under their add to plan deal. But the good thing is I'm getting a plus for the same monthly price and no up front charge, won't be going for JB or Black so lets see how long they quote me when i phone up again
Saw the Plus in the Apple Store and couldn't go through with getting a normal size one so didn't get one and just wait until I can get a Plus from Apple or mine turns up at the EE store
I finally gave up and picked up an iPhone 7+ 256GB in matte black from Apple through their Upgrade Programme. I will be paying close to 50 a month for the phone with apple care.
My EE contract went down from 66/month to 20/month and I got to keep my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that I can sell for 400-450. All in all, I think I will be making a nice little profit out of all this...

Hang on. As much as I'm also irritated with the wait for the new phone, I really don't think the delay has anything to do with Tim Cook's interest in "gay rights", and even if it did... protection laws for minority groups are sliigghhttllyy more important than us all getting our hands on a shiny new toy in time for launch day. Chill.
You get 3 months free apple music on the trial. Just wait until those 3 months are up and use your EE discount (you have to activate it).
