When I looked into EE sim only plans you don't get roaming etc, that's only available on the max plans that come with the phone. But you are entitled to 6 months Apple Music and BT sport.
Is it a great deal? With the combined cost does it not work out more expensive per month? Albeit for only 12 months.
Hey man,

Here are my two options from research and what's been offered to me.

That's the kind of numbers that I was working on too Chris. Plus adding in how the networks perform against eachother, and EE wins hands down on that front. So I'm just going to have to sit in and await my delivery!

How did you manage to get such a great deal? Well done! I'm paying £129.99 for the same handset in Silver, and then £50.99 a month for 5gb of data a month. Thought that was a steal before seeing your post

The deal I got from EE definitely better than buying outright although I did my figures over 12 months since it was to be on the 4GEE 25gb max plan that allows upgrade after one year. However as I sold my 6s and sent it away at the weekend picked up (matt) black 7+ at my local Apple Store on Thursday last week I have only got about 8 or 9 days left for EE to come up with the (JB) goods or I need to cancel :-(

You did the same as me, I picked up for Matt Black 7 plus last week from Sheffield will return (hopefully) before my 14 days run out

Heading into my fifth year with them! I moved over as a beta tester on the EE network like 2 years ago..I no longer test the network but they still in somewhat way give me loyalty discount for what I did do. Have a look at the two deals above for the sim only deals and buying out right, you might be better off. I'd suggest going with Three :)

As hopefully a new customer to EE, I thought the early upgrade would be the way to go, that was until I found out you have to either: give 7 back & pay £199 for upgrade after 12mths i.e., at least £600 down the drain & back to square 1 with a further 24 contract or pay £300 to keep the phone, upgrade & take out the same further 24mth contract.
For me, cheapest option looks like taking max at 24mths, 256GB 7+, selling for at least £400 after 12mths, & going onto apple's upgrade programme when 8 comes out, keeping the remaining 12mths, & go sim only for the remainder, it breaks to equivalent to £65/mth with no costs for either of 2 iPhones.

I don't see the jet black coming till at least novemeber tbh. Apple uk site says novemeber so why will carriers get it before Apple stores.

Guess we will see early October when the so called within 21 days ends. EE just thobbing us off with lies hoping we don't cancel. I need a phone otherwise I would of tbh.

No note7 no 7 plus's it sucks. I hope the google phone blows minds I doubt it though lol

The EE early upgrade is probably a better deal if you are upgrading to this as an existing customer. I was offered a 128gb 7+ handset for free in £65.99 per month tariff. I currently pay around £20-25 per month sim only. So I saw this as a net difference of £40 per month for the handset. 12x40=480 some of which I could offset when (and if) I sold the handset instead of trading in after 12 months. You can keep a 7+ for £310 if you do not want to give back when you upgrade after 12 months. My plan was to sell for around £400-450. I was assuming the cost of upgrade next year would be minimal in terms of upfront cost since free this year.

I have ended up purchasing on the iphone payments plan which doesn't allow upgrade after 12 months but is cheaper per month as no applecare and does allow the loan to be settled early which I plan to do as.

I tend to budget on an iPhone costing me £40-45 per month (loss) on top of my sim tariff.

Fair Play.

Been with EE since the start and even before that I was with Orange for like 15 years and they wouldn't give me anything close to that lol.

So sticking with the deal I got from CPW instead. Only 8GB of DATA but just about enough for me.

Looking though all the pages

Its been absoulte ages & ages.

EE its about time you deliver

sad faces people crying a river.

How about a new update today

All we can do hope and pray.

Tell me my jet black is here now

To stop the moaning and the row.

Is today the day of the dpd message

Bring to me my shiny new Package.

I usually go to Hornchurch branch of Carphone Warehouse and always got the new phone on launch day without pre-ordering and without a queue. I visited on launch day this year and strongly suspected that I would be out of luck on this occasion and, of course, wasn't wrong. While I was in store I ordered the matte black plus (plus virgin here, first time) 256gb.

Anticipated in-store collection date was 30th September but I had a pleasant surprise as it turned up today. This was an EE upgrade. Have I been lucky waiting-time wise or is it because I didn't go JB and there is less demand for 256 than 128 so my MB 256 + became available sooner?
