I have the G.D.Smith on my 7+ now and is pretty satisfied over all. It is definitely not as well formed around the edges as the G.D.Smith on my wife's 6s but is still 100% better than the TOZO POS. I ripped that ugly thing off as soon as the G.D.Smith arrived.

Where do you guys buy the G.D.Smith? I saw it on AE but I'm not very into risking again because the delivery is very slow and most of my orders were fail.

The G.D.Smith didn't survive a foot drop onto the toilet seat cover, shattered the corner. This time, went with the Manto screen protector and like this one even more because I can use my Apple silicone case with it. They come real close to touching but doesn't whereas the G.D.Smith wraps around the screen more and would have the case overlapping it. Hopefully the Manto is more resilient than the G.D.Smith, lol!

Damn, sick but I just saw photos of the protector and it does't even wrap, it's just flat. I would love, however, to have the abbility to use the Apple case.

@n1smo that Manto looks nice. Is that a 7 or 7+? Did you order from Amazon?

TIA!

Yes, ordered from Amazon and it is a 7+... I'm loving this setup as it is very minimalistic and OEM looking. Just worry about the exposed bottom edge with the silicone case.

Yes, you are correct, it is not 3D like the G.D.Smith but does go past the edge of the screen by a mm or so. It really is the best of both worlds IMO.

If the protector broke and your screen didn't, then the protector did its job. Not sure why you're downing them.

Anyone knows where to buy the Imos protector in the US?

Thanks
Nope. Generally only available from international sellers.

Only stating the facts, take it as you will.

Looks nice! Do the black borders block any of the screen? The GD Smith and Daswise ones I've tried cover up a few pixels around the four sides and make certain elements like page loading bars and scroll bars hard to see

@awmstone :

Currently my favorite just like you is the D&P, mainly for its coating. I want to try a different one next and was considering Tech Armour. How's the oleo coating vs D&P and also are the home button edges rounded? I'm OCD about that. :)

Thanks

@Zerog46 and @MajicSho :

Basically the same questions on the Peel. Is the coating as good as other sp you have used, and is the button cutout rounded or sharp?

Thanks

That SecondSkin seems interesting. Any reviews on it?

I bought it and its exactly the same as Orzly but more expensive. Looks good and the black part of the protector appears more shinny and uniform than D&P, but the button edges are sharp and oleo coating feels rough like touching a non coated glass. Also it's a fingerprint magnet.

Has anyone tried the aM film 3D? I used their Nintendo Switch protector and love it. Curios if the iphone version is as good.

Did anyone stop using screen shields ? If so how's is the phone holding up

I did. Got tired on not being able to use certain cases like the life proof. Mine screen is in great shape. I carry it in my front pocket. I also have apple care so the screen replacement is only $29 now so no big deal.

I'm debating doing it. I plan on only keeping the phone till November anyway. What's $29 to replace the screen if it gets really badly scratched or broken.

Meanwhile I have a Zagg on it and it works good.
