So if we plan on upgrading next year, this plan is not very cost effective? We are either better off buying the phone outright (selling our previous one) or going the Apple Upgrade route?
Damn man I'm so mad at Samsung right now. I was good with my damn Note 7 and promised myself I would not be going through this whole preorder frenzy like the past two years. I was content, then they had to start exploding and now I'm here. SMDH
Website and no back orders !Same boat..... Let's hope Tmobile is better prepared this year to handle the pre orders
/throws diceSo will we be able to go into a store and pre order with JOD tomorrow? Last time i tried to pre order a phone on Jump On Demand the store rep said i had to wait until release day.
Should not be a problem. I preordered with JOD with the the Note 7 in store and went smooth and received it like a day before they hit the stores. Where you will run into issues is when you try and turn in your phone. Some stores try and give you problems. So will we be able to go into a store and pre order with JOD tomorrow? Let the drinking begin! The games continue!! Another phone rep just told me that they would give me credit for my current phone and it has to be enough to cover what I owe to be able to upgrade.... Yet for Jump On Demand they say you can upgrade whenever you want regardless of how much is paid off.....
That's what I thought, I have jod and I have not done any upgrades since I got the phone... This guy told me that doesn't matter and they give you a credit based on device value and if it's not enough you still gotta payOn jump when you have paid off half or more on your iPhone you can trade it in and T-Mobile pays the other half.
On jod you are able to upgrade 3 times in a year and 6 times in 18 months.
Thanks. Hopefully everything goes smoothly at my local store.Should not be a problem. And honestly I have no problems with the iphone itself. My biggest issue is with preorders, I mean every year it's that same thing. And then people are like well it's an iPhone what do you expect. Well I expect that person that probably make 8 figures to do a proper forecast. If I'm required to accurately forecast for my job and almost always am within 5 % of my target they should be able to as well. I just hate that Apple likes to overinflate the demand by restricting supply.Same boat..... Let's hope Tmobile is better prepared this year to handle the pre orders
So, question:
Will i get charged the BS $20 upgrade fee if I entirely pay off my JoD lease + use that phone towards the iPhone 7 EIP deal?
I called T-Mobile to ask about details for the iPhone 7. She told me that I can order online and save the $20 upgrade fee, or, she can give a call back so I can order over the phone at 3:30 am ET but there will be a $20 upgrade fee. I will wait for the call. Don't mind the $20. But will be trying the web. If I manage to upgrade using mytmobile site then I will place the order. If I can not manage because the site may have some problems then I have a "backup plan".
My thoughts too, but I need to pay off the JoD 6s device too...
Or am I able to "upgrade" online and then pay it off separately?
E.G. should I call now to pay it off, and then complete the order online?
