I wish... I think we've all been told that for our own time zone... they won't even admit the prices posted above are legit.

I'm in EST though. Central isn't my time zone. he told me to be ready at 1am

Great, another time is added to the mix, are you in Central by any chance?

What's the legality with a carrier selling them before Apple?
[doublepost=1473373055][/doublepost]I'm in EST but I'm going to wait until I see data before calling at 1...

last years pre-order was quite smooth, pre-ordered RG6s 2 days after pre orders opened and got my phone on Launch day
[doublepost=1473372142][/doublepost]only gripe I had last year (which i really hope they fix) was Tmobile sending the phone in literally only a plastic bag, box was crazy beat up.

Yeah! Hecka shady!

Jet. With a clear skin. :)

Any word on why they aren't encouraging JoD? Also, am I correct in my understanding that if you keep a JoD phone for 18 months, it would be fully paid off and you can turn it in without owing anything? If that's the case, then I'll get the iPhone 8 as my last JoD phone and keep it 18 months, turn it in, and start buying my phones again.
I think they're losing money on it. And no, you still owe roughly $200 if you want to keep it at the end.

Yeah! Hecka shady!

Exactly what I was thinking !! haha any recommendations ? Normaly i would just with with a "liquid crystal" spigen case and a screen protector but since its such a high gloss finish im thinking skin is the only way to avoid that little dust that gets between your case and phone plus the tiny exposed areas as well

Current T-Mobile customer, with a 64gig iPhone 6. Torn if I want to do this promo, or try the Apple Upgrade Program, or Just buy the iPhone 7 Plus outright....

I never ordered a phone through T-Mobile before. I'm an authorized user on a family plan and I'm currently using my own unlocked phone. Will I just be able to log in online and place a preorder on my existing line?

Anything shiny like that tends to scratch very easily. I'm thinking it will look great out of the box, but not after 3 months. I'm thinking matte will be the smarter choice. I know, it's tempting to get the shiny to prove you have a high end model, but be practical people.

I'm thinking Bodyguardz...whenever they get them in stock.

Orrrrrrr--and this is a stretch--we could just be getting it because we like it. Exclusivity with iPhone went out the window when AT&T stopped being the only carrier to have them. Besides, you just throw a skin on it--problem solved.

I am in the same boat as you. Since I know that I am going to get a new phone next year, the promo is basically giving me just $325 for my phone, since I won't get the 2nd year credits. I could pay the $325 plus half of the upgrades to it to own it; but in my case, I would have to pay $435 to own the phone then. I am going to pass or get the Apple upgrade program and sell my current phone form more than $325.

Did anyone who is receiving call backs receive a text from T-Mobile confirming the callback? I just noticed this in my text notifications from this morning.

You have to call to order your iPhone on jod. You can see for your self, just log on to my T-Mobile and try to do a jod upgrade it will tell you to call in or stop by a store.

You will most likely be able to stop by a store on launch day a little before we open and walk out with a new iPhone 7. We might not have all the colors shipped to us on launch day, like when the Note 7 came out none of the stores in my area received the new blue color.

The $20 upgrade support charge only applies to customers not currently on jod or paying for the $9-12 jump feature on there account.

You do not need to pay tax when doing a jod upgrade the tax is figured in to the residual at the end of your 18 month agreement. You do pay tax when doing a standard 24 month jump agreement.

WOW and I was told that couldn't be possible, and yet I'm looking at it right now, well done you.
Yeah I just called and was told that wasn't possible. Maybe it's certain reps trying to get there preorders up, if that's the case I'll just call because anything could happen with them. They might get the guy thats going to preorder 6 iPhones. Lol.

Even worse she could be trying to stop them from getting a phone by saying she will call and she doesn't. Lol.

So I just got off the phone with a rep. Another confirmation that if you are on Jump On Demand, you need to call or go in a store. My rep told me he would call me back at 12:30 am PT. I still might call at 12am PT just to see if I can get through before he calls at 12:30 am (and just in case he forgets to call).

I intend to start calling at 11:30p eastern with the expectation that half the world will have the same brilliant idea, when I finally get someone to tell me to go away till 3:00a then I'll start again at 2:30 KNOWING that the rest of you guys are planning on doing exactly that... you sneaky devils. Seriously though, I hope we all get what we want tonight.

Damn man I'm so mad at Samsung right now. I was good with my damn Note 7 and promised myself I would not be going through this whole preorder frenzy like the past two years. I was content, then they had to start exploding and now I'm here. SMDH
