I ordered my 7+ rose gold 128 gb at 3 in the afternoon when preorders started. I got a text message from T-Mobile stating that the phone would ship between 9-27 and 10-10. Wednesday they sent me a tracking number. Yesterday it was in Louisville and then in Indianapolis. Today it's out for delivery.
I dislike everyone getting their phones today.

lol
Looks like we're getting one phone at least.

Oh wait. That phone is going to Plantation FL and we live in Utah.

Even UPS is in on the joke t-mobile is playing on JOD customers this year.

Still nothing in my matte black 7 plus...what a joke. So unhappy with this preorder.
It sucks doesn't it. A lot of people say why do you need it the first day and it's simple. I don't really have a lot of hobbies and this is like my Christmas every year so it does stink to pre order and not receive it on launch day. Here's to packages just showing up!

T-Mobile messed up. I was on the phone with them at 12:03 am launch day. Their computers crashes and so they didn't complete the order until 8:45 in the morning.

No movement out of Louisville. My card was charged 3 days ago and a shipping label created two days ago. I was hopefully to see it today. None the less, I got notifications from tmobile that my order has shipped, so I expected to get it tomorrow or Monday.

Getting angry and worked up seems to be the common theme here. But I was quoted a late Sept early October window, so I am happy with this. Also, it'd probably just logistics. Millions of phones are moving into Louisville. There is only so much ups can process and ship out at a time.

I'll be looking forward to getting the devices in the next 24 to 72 hours. I have alcohol and football all weekend to distract me.

I am in the same boat! I love phones and I was really excited to preorder and get on launch day. This was my first apple preorder and it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I get that it's just a phone it's just frustrating to stay up until 3 AM and preorder right away to get nothing. T-Mobile has no clue what is going on and Apple doesn't care. I hate being left in the dark with no information. I hope my phone shows up next week. At this point I just don't know anymore.

Well, not sure this means anything, but I checked my order status online and it went from "order placed" to "being processed"

Email confirmation of order received at 12:09 pst on 9/9. 32gb 7+ Matte Black and shipping estimate is 9/19-9/26

8:50 AM EST here...wife's 32 GB 7+ is on the truck for delivery, and nothing new on 7+ 128 GB Jet Black for me...allegedly exec team said they didn't get any black models or jet black in first allotment, but rest assured they'll be receiving inventory shipments throughout the weekend and hope to be able to fill many orders throughout the weekend...*ha*

Got to play with a black 7 Plus demo earlier so that took a little of the sting away..

The new Taptic home button is really cool

My first experience with preorder too and I won't be doing it ever again. It's just a phone but I cannot deal with not knowing where my phone is and what's going on. We're left in the dark. Apple and T-Mobile are aware of the issues and nobody is addressing it. That alone is enough for me.

I'm with you. Not gonna do this again. Not worth it.

So let's just say the Matte black phones were on those 8 flights and we get charged/shipped today... What are the chances that tmobile adds Saturday delivery to those packages as a "we're sorry" ? I'm reaching, I know. I need to accept the fact that I won't have it this weekend to play around with.

This whole ordering process was a nightmare for me. I couldn't order at 12:01am cuz the website crashed. So I called and made the order for the 256 JB w/delivery of 9/19. The rep ordered the Matte Black by accident. I didn't freak out over it, but I did call to address it. I didn't want to wait till November for the JB, but at least compensate me for your mistake. They offered an insulting $20 credit to which I declined and reached out to their executive office to ask for better compensation. A few days later, my Matte Black oreder was suddenly canceled, but before I could let out a yelp/tear, someone from the executive office called to "tell me" (not ask) that he canceled the order for the Matte Black and ordered the Jet Black. Also that he prioritized it, but it wouldn't ship with the first batch and ignore the 11/1 ship date. He then stated that he'd completely waive the initial down payment, essentially saving me $309. So I call this morning to a regular service rep for an update and they stated that it's prioritized for the November 1st batch. I hope to god she is wrong because for that, I would just dealt with the Matte Black that I could've possibly gotten today. I just found it real weird that someone from the executive office would cancel the order and correct it without my permission/input if it would've resulted in a shipping delay.
