Last year... they said that JOD customers would get "priority access" on the iPhone 6S orders... now we are the redheaded stepchild when we want the iPhone 7.

I'm confused, I'm JOD and my iPhone 7 128GB is out for delivery & I ordered it on Monday. I was treated very good.
 
No phone here either....

The most disappointing part of it all is that I paid full price for the phone. I'm not in any JOD, or took the free iPhone promotion. If I pay for it upfront, I better be a priority and I better have my phone on launch day. period.

T-Mobile & Apple Failed.

Or else?

Well, Apple has taught that buying through a carrier is least favorable from a delivery point of view. Many will go through Apple directly next year. They seem to have taken supply from carriers and other outlets to pacify the babies in the iPhone Upgrade Program who couldn't get the phone they wanted on launch day - although Apple didn't promise they would.

So many of us who got up at 3:00am and ordered have been pushed back. Not nice, but that appears to be what happened.

Here's is a funny story for you guys. I called up T-mo's customer service in the morning and asked them to give me an update on my order. The rep said you will get it today. I go how can you even say that without even looking up my order? she tells me that she sees my order number i ask her to give me my order number she couldn't do it because she didn't have my account pulled up. After i give her my phone number and last 4 she said i have it pulled up. I ask her to give me a tracking since she had told me that i will be getting my phone delivered today. She was hesitant in the beginning and tried to play it off. I reiterated and said text me my tracking number and don't hang up till i have it. So she sends me a tracking and i was shocked but guess what she made up the tracking number and hung up the phone right away. Can you believe this crap?
 
JOD customers are FORCED to order over the phone for an iPhone pre-order. Cannot order online.... and then wasn't it magical when their system went down 5 mins after orders start... affecting JOD customers.


I went to the store to pre-order. 611 was giving me a hard time so I went right to my store and had no issues. Today when I get my phone all I have to do is go to the store and turn my old phone in.

This is more proof of a comment I made yesterday that T-Mobile reps are just BS people to get them off the phone.

Was this a foreign call center?

They should just come out and cancel the program instead of dicking so many jump customers around. The fact that we cannot order online is a farce, considering you can do it for Jump.
 
Some poor rep in Manila working for .35 cents an hour. Imagine what they really think about our 1st world problems.

I'm really getting tired of dealing with Reps in the Philippines. For starters, they have no bloody common sense and cannot answer questions beyond what they see on a script.

I wonder how they would like it if we outsourced their calls to the Chinese and they received the equivalent apathetic service...

You and others with stories like this need to flood John Legere's inbox with emails of your experience. I wrote a long email to him last year hoping they would get things sorted, but nope. Same nonsense as last year. You call 5 reps and get 5 completely different answers. How is this even possible? Email him! john.legere@t-mobile.com
 
Yep. Last year it was all the rage but this year it has been the middle finger for JOD customers.

Their rationale is that we should apparently pay off the JOD, ironically as if it's an EIP. Then, trade it in and get our "free phone". So basically, I will trade in my 128gb 6s+ and get the same credit as someone who is trading in a iphone 6 16gb.

Based on yet another year of order screws ups by t-mobile, I'm going to be dropping out of JOD and just purchasing from apple directly.

JOD is amazing. Xmas 3 times a year.

I'm a little confused by your post. JOD doesn't have any priority over EIP or any other oreder. Never has. This year has been great for this JOD customer.

You never have to pay off your current device under JOD. Never. Under the old Jump you have to pay at least half, but not JOD. You just use one of your 3 upgrades.

Not sure how Tmo screwed anything up? It's as normal as it's always been. In the last 6 months, I've had the S7 edge, Note 5, Note 7...back to the Note 5 now...and soon to be 7 plus. In spring I'll get the S8...followed by an HTC or LG device....then the anniversary iPhone8.

That's a phone geeks paradise :)
