So you're willing to complain when the US-based representatives give conflicting information just to appease you, yet you're also going to complain about people who are consistent and don't promise anything they don't know about?

And what would a third world country know about self entilted douchebags demanding retribution for the grave injustice of having their $1000 device (which is likely the reps yearly salary) delayed for a few days?
 
No but his executive admin most likely does, and alerts him of the well written and important ones. Or there is an executive response team.

He does respond personally to some of them, and sometimes he just forwards it to someone on his team. I received a personal response from him last year, and he also told me who he was CC'ing my email to.
 
i mean when it comes down to it did anyone who ordered a black + get a shipping estimate of 9/16? if not why be upset that you didnt get it. i mean its not great that they werent available at launch but i think people are going a little crazy considering off the jump nobody was told they would get it on launch day... just my .02
 
Not when I am forced to order over the phone or in-store. In store reps hate doing jump with many claiming it's no longer available. The problem this year is that JOD customers received no promotional incentive whatsoever, while EIP customers basically got a $400+ credit minimum.

Promoting a service and then basically abandoning it less than 12 months later is bait and switching. Considering Iphones are released once a year, Iphone users only jump once anyway.

This year I am just cancelling all jumps and switching to Apple's upgrade program... something I should have done last year.

I would never recommend JOD if you're only planning on upgrading once per year. That completely voids the awesomeness that is JOD. Promos aren't Tmo's deal. That's Apple not offering anything. This year alone, I've got a free Gear VR, free year of Netflix and a free Gear Fit2. Totally awesome.

You don't ever want to pay too much toward one device...you MUST use your 3 (min 2) upgrades per year, for JOD to work like it should. The reason is... you don't want put $300-$400 toward a single device... like if your only getting one iPhone per year. That completely defeats the purpose of JOD.

So yeah, you should absolutely quit it, if that's the case. As for no in-store JOD sales.... that's fine. It's a huge money loss for Tmo...and their in-store employees make commission. So, it's totally understandable they stopped in-store JOD upgrades. I prefer over the phone sales anyway.

I'm just thankful they haven't ended JOD all together. I'm an iPhone user, who also uses Androids. Because I love checking out new tech :) JOD makes that possible.

Ah, I see. Hadn't checked the page again since I ordered last weekend. Interesting. I guess that's one way to get people to switch to thier new sh*t plan with 2G...errr...3G tethering speeds, and extra fees everywhere. TMobile. The REcarrier...
 
Odd that my bfs iPhone says shipped on T-Mobile online but when I try to track it by track my reference nothing pulls up? And of course mine says processing lol -_-
 
I figured I probably wouldn't get my order on launch day but it sucks that I have no idea what's going on. The past few iPhones never came on launch day so no biggie to me. For me, part of me gets wrapped up in the whole thing. It's not a big deal for me to wait a little while but if I had to wait a month or two or three, then that would suck.
 
Just talked to my local t-mobile store. She said they had The matte black 128 gb in stock. I made an excuse to my boss to leave for a bit. Jumped in my car. Then realized I didn't ask if they were the pluses. Called back and they are not. 1 minute later I'm back at work with another excuse why I didn't have to leave. #firstworldproblems
 
I just hate that the T-mobile stores in my area never had the higher capacity, that's why I had to order them. And the closest Apple store is 2 hours north of me.

Lol yeah some people are doing the most and really crying about a $1k phone while posting from another $1k phone or computer. Sure this is all annoying but it isn't that serious. And in reality T-Mobile gave over estimated ship dates so really there is nothing to cry about. People were given lat September or October ship dates from the get go and are crying when their ship dates haven't even approached yet. It's one thing to get a 9/16 ship date and your phone never comes.

Like I said the only thing that was annoying to me was carriers not being up front that there was no plus stock for black from the jump. Like I said I feel it would have been better to push the black release back by a week and at least not waste people's time but even then from the jump they showed when it would ship and people still ordered so it is what it is.

My iPhone 7+ 128 black still sitting at processed, local stores have no pluses, and I am unable to get the Jordan banned 1 restock on eastbay.. #FridayCryday...
