They had initially said (over the last week) that it would arrive by 9/19 or 9/20. He said that I should get it by Monday, 9/26 but could not narrow down a window since as per his information they had not received these models yet.
I see.

That's one of the reasons why I haven't called and complained about my $20 assistance fee they tacked on to my order yet.

It's too easy for them to *clickclick* "Alright, I did go ahead and take off that $20 fee however we are going to have to re-order your phone. Your new estimate is December 15-31. Have a great day, thanks for using T-mobile!"
Omg I'm not alone. I will not say a dang thing about the fee until I have a phone. Too worried they will cancel me.

Lol :D
Keep making excuses. Yes, a company like Apple cannot project sales so they dont have any Jet black devices for sale or iphone 7 plus models in order not to make too many or get stuck with unsold product. LMAO :D
Nothing wrong with this process and they should not be held accountable for anything.
Keep drinking the koolaid.
Everything is nice and dandy:D

How exactly could they be "held accountable"? Granted they are a public traded company, but they have the freedom to produce as many of their product(s) as they see fit and only have to answer to themselves (even if their small ownership had any say, stock holders aren't going to punish their own investment). Limited supply creates a higher demand and inflates price/value.

Sneaker industry is another perfect example. All the big companies produce limited amounts of sneakers to generate demand (or as we in the industry like to call hype) and drive up the value of the product. Nobody threatens to hold Nike or Adidas accountable and have done this for decades. They supply however much they damn well please.

Both examples show that a good product, smart supply decisions, and high perceived product value lead to successful business. The only thing they have to account for is profit margin.

Put a letter into the presidents office and a rep will call you. They credited the 40 to my account. The second I told her I was on JOD she said yeah we are working on that. They are saying that charge is for people using telesales when they can use internet ordering, call it a convenience fee. On JOD you don't have choice because the site doesn't let you order. They are aware and are more then happy to remove the amount. My dates stayed the same and they give you direct call back extensions in the event you need to follow up. Get that money back!
